Its awesome, but might i recommend you add some accomadations for people like me who are
"rhythmly chalenged" I mean, im no vitrisuo, and this game has a steep learning curve for those who have'nt touched an instrument in their life.

great game, great concept, but maby an attack button, use mouse? that way for attack timing you could just add a stamina bar or action bar or somthing.

I have a feeling this game would be super awesome if I played piano or any instrument where I read music. I play drums though and don't read music.

CONFUSING AS ALL hell you should have a tutorial where it shows you how to like place things in certain places instead of this randomness im doing

There are three major problems with this game. 1.) There are a lot of options in Compose mode that do absolutely nothing outside of making your song sound nicer. The black keys, the chords, and rest notes do absolutely nothing when you start playing the level (outside of certain clothing/object bonuses). 2.) Certain options that would affect Play mode are missing, most notably the ability to change tempo, adding time signatures, and so on. 3.) The player is forced to choose between composing something that sounds pretty, and something that functions well in Play mode. There is very little room for compromise. As it stands, this game is a real stinker. Even someone as talented as you can't rescue a bad idea like this.

@nagashthegod : The hell are you talking about? Nerdook has made this game a thousand times better with this update. It's so much more fun to play and you don't need to be a freakin' genius to figure out how to play the game. No way is this 3.7/5 material, definitely in the high 4s nerdook.

cleared about 60-70% of the game when it was 64 stages long... now theres only 16 left?! i mean, sure, it was a bit long at first... but what about the time i invested in thatttt DX the ending was funny though =D

What does the major vs. minor chord change? Also what to is the difference with the black keys? Both need to be added to the tutorial!!

instead of turbo, can't you make it so you can set your own tempo, which would make it much easier to make your own songs.

The number under the notes is the number of block that the note can create.Using notes with no numbers is the same of use rest!Cat easily beat first 6levels.Quavers are missing:'(.Lots of love for the piano playing cat!:D

Gold stars all across the board via random cat and just standing on top of the block without moving. Game is incredibly easy and therefore boring. Honestly, if you don't have some grounding in music, you're just going to hit random and get on with it. Nice concept but too easy and too niche.

I think my biggest disappointment about the game was how much the strategy deviated from the actual music. Instead of making songs to beat the level, I made songs that I liked listening too, and fared worse than random-cat. I know it's difficult to program music tastes, but some levels seemed like they could be easily beaten with chromatic scales =/

I feel slightly disappointed that there's no grand finale or ending, there's also an item missing and I have no clue how to obtain it. Maybe I just missed something -somewhere-. I honestly was one of the people who hit random each time, but I did at least make sure that when I went into a stage to pick my items carefully so that my weapon attack would be boosted along with the blocks I thought would be most useful

You. Kitty with the Cheshire grin, yeah you. You know you are the one to blame for all these ghosts. No worries, I won't tell anyone.

I can't understand how to play the game. If you showed me where the blocks were activated a bit better, I'd be happier.

When making your "song" look at the number of squares in each note. If you play that note it will put a block there, if you play it twice it will upgrade that block. But, if you play that note again it will disappear and need to be placed again. Since your song repeats, you need to take that into account. Start with the blocks closest to the spawn and play notes outwards to block the stars.
What it sounds like isn't important to the game, just a neat perk.

the crazy train intro import is epic! even though its too slow! actually, though, i discover if you play it on turbo it sounds just like crazy train!

its funny, ive had 4 years of piano lessons, mastered the entertainer, some songs from the phantom of the oprah, and songs by scott jopplin, yet the cat is a million times better than me. :( what does it all mean!!???!!!!
