Really fun game. There's not that much interaction with the game, as it's mostly just watching the battles. I'd say it isn't quite paced as well as I've come to expect. Usually your games scale and progress equally with the levels, where as this requires replaying levels and grinding. Still, it's a lot of fun. 3.5/5, i'd say, more likely to round up to a 4.

Some Tips: Be sure to call in your best units first; they may require a higher respawn cost, but an early advantage is crucial. Always go for +1 Reinforcements point when available. Without those points, it's substantially more difficult to win battles.

I'm very happy with how much attention is being paid. Faults being corrected and such. Just for being very open to feedback and working hard to fix and add and nerf and buff, I am proud to see a developer working so hard, congratulations on the fact that you haven't put out a game, but have put out a game that will be upgraded to incredible height.

First off, obligatory mention of how awesome the game is and how it's 5/5 in my book and already favorited. Anyway, possible bug/glitch: when i was facing an enemy with a longbow archer, the archer managed to teleport behind its castle, so I had to bring down the castle to finally kill the archer. Not a big deal but it was kind of annoying... and also kinda cool because up 'til then i had never been able to attack the castle, always won or lost first...

Allowing a data transfer is the greatest idea ever! So many circumstances I have been stuck re-doing everything on a flash game because I'm on a different computer or different site. Thanks, Nerdook!

Sorry, I don't have hours to waste grinding so I can beat level 4. Games that rely heavily on grinding are simply not fun to play. I would rather play a game with 20 levels that focused more on progress and good game design, than play a game with only 5 levels that focuses on increasing the games length through slightly luck based battles and tons of grinding. 1/5 unless this problem is addressed.
it's 1 minute per battle with the speed up option, you get to keep any earned cards when you are defeated, and there's a small gold bonus even for losing the battle. it takes maybe 30 minutes of playing to have a decent deck of units that is flexible enough to deal with the AI's builds. so... not really hours of grinding, I tried to avoid that too!

There needs to be a retreat/advance option. There is no point in me forcing my guys to advance when I know I won't get to the castle and would just give them the advantage of letting their castle shoot me.

If Archangel guardian is classified as 'Archangel' , Demon Balrog should be 'Demon' as well.. also, it is weak compared to archangels and worms

No flame can desire the endless dragon,
Fire survive like final creatures...

Love the game, one concern though: when I choose the tactic to shield my army, they automatically retreat backward, making it a waste to increase their defense

Archers are very powerful. They never get killed, so the respawn cost does not matter. Combine them with a siege machine and you are all set.

Could use a lot more explanation. For starters, What does setting an enemy on fire do? I also noticed that archer arrows seem to be able to hit multiple targets, can other units do the same or is that archer only?

it's insane the level of monsters the AI opponant is given. You have guys on horses, they have bulls & spiders. WTF? And a frigging DINOSAUR?

I nice addition would be to have a small "side deck/storage" for when you want to try other styles without having to piece meal it one at a time (unless you're buying a lot of them)

I usually LOVE nerdook games, however, this one lacks an enourmous amount of balance, the more I play, the harder it gets, sometimes I pay too much recruiting for units that usually cost 1! It's either buggy, or just really difficult to understand, plus can't replay tutorial to check if I missed something... awful 2/5

shadow vampires tend to heal themselves a bit too much.. anyone else noticed that there are certain situations where they cant be killed?

Here's an idea for a future build, cards to upgrade and select tactics. Have a few (e.g., 6) slots to upgrade favorite tactics, gain a unit card one fight, a tactic card the next. Make them slightly less expensive than unit cards, and possibly even passive upgrades (new reinforcement one second sooner, 2x gold per kill, +1 reinforcement point every 5 kills, as examples)
