great game just rated it a 5/5. Please add some more levels and more units. Maybe heroes even and upgrades. Good job on it!

Scanning for distress beacons? Normally wouldn't it be the distress beacon sending out a signal and any ship in the general area receiving it? But yeah. 100 planetary systems/second is lol.

In the same vein as anakin2177's comment about making the "see all ranges" color coded, I think it would be cool if the unit's themselves were different colors, or otherwise more distinct looking - it would help you get a better sense of what your defenses look like at a glance.

I'd like to see a reverse campaign. Play from the attackers perspective. Build spawning pools and send them in at the right point to get through the engineers defences. This game really is great.

"then it seemed like the desert come alive... they were coming out from under the sand" am i the only one who think about Starcraft when play this? to me it's a Zerg invasion with some marines trying to defend the base :p

A top down view and a square map would be much better so placing would be easier, If the map was symmetrical my defenses would be much more effective. This is why i'm failing at the start. Upgrades for specific people might be cool as well. If you could change what type of enemy a specific unit attacks such as an enemy with the highest amount of hp or speed or the name of them would open more strategies. +/- if you Agree/Disagree with my comment.

i agree with regalwar and dragonarcher there should be pill boxes and towers but made of wrecage and it would maybe take a wave or two to build and you would have to post defenders in them trenches and debris barricades would be good too

I'd like it better if the recycle wasn't a 50% loss. Doesn't give a lot of incentive to recycle unless you are horribly desperate.

so ur on a crashed ship... with a near limitless number of engineers... needs a unit cap
units should have health... cuz the moment the enemy hits one BAM! he's dead... and the idiot next to him doesn't turn to defend himself so BAM! he's dead too

It doesn't sound smart, but making 2x10 lines of basic riflemen on the last level is the best way to spend your money at first... then making a 1x 10 line of flamethrowers in front of them, and then 1x4 gravity rifle thingy, and spending the rest on lasermen= easy victory. you need to get repulse happy for the last two waves though. great game 5/5 definitely has the potential to "sequel" into one of the best games i've played here

A 5 rows of nail guns and one row of imploders behind them holds off the entire last wave. I seem to be using mostly the nail gun and not even touching the flare gun or the fuel gun due to its uselessness against the infected.

We're going home! After leaving this moon and it's inhabitants we can finally release a sigh of relief. All we have to do now is wait for the warp drive to active and send us home. *Suddenly, A crash can be heard as if something has hit the exterior of the ship.* "WARNING, WARNING. Warp Drive Damaged. Initiating emergency landing. Setting course for an uninhabited planet." After landing on this planet, repair crews begin working on the damaged Warp Drive Engine. Since this Planet is uninhabited, we can breathe a-- No. NO! They're here! This can't be! They're even bigger than before! NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Perfect the way it is. having bunkers, pill boxes, or towers ready to build straight from your ship wreck makes no sense. trenches and debris barricades would fit the story line but not needed. definitely love the support options in battle. 5/5!

Needs Acheivements
such as an easy one for beating Day 1 on easy for an easy acheivement
or surviving the Day 5 on hard difficulty for a hard aceivement, etc.
+ if you agree

Great game, lots of fun, and actually unique and refreshing. Intuitive gameplay and a quick learning curve make it fun to play. However, making the line of sight for the units ("E" button) toggle rather than requiring me to hold it in would be GREAT.

Really appreciate all the comments! Some of of them are hilarious :D, and some have really useful suggestions. I do read them all even if I can't respond to everyone. Still waiting on Kong for badges. Definitely pumped to make the sequel even more epic. Thanks Everyone!

day 3 is bullshit. your guys can't turn, and their covering range is too short to actually be useful. You have to pray that the enemy doesn't slip into a tiny gap in your defenses until you get enough cash to fill that gap in. Otherwise your entire line is dead.

The last Wave on Level three is like going from 100 to 5000000, the difficulty jump and number of enemies explodes making it near impossible

This was one of the best paced defense games ever. There was little to no tedious waiting for your defenses to mop up the enemies you knew they would eventually kill. It was quick, but you could still follow the action. Well done indeed.

also, a tactic i've tried that hasn't made me lose once yet is ranging the heck out of them with nail-gunners/beam cutters while keeping flamethrowers/imploders as close range cover

Not sure how you implemented weapon hits, or if you even implemented enemies touching each other, but maybe enemies that are on fire should set nearby fuel-coated enemies on fire?
