Amazing game! The story, the art, the music too! The badge seem to be broken though, i've seen others comment that too. If you didn't get the badge either, don't hesitate to subbmit a "report missing achivment". It won't be fixed if no one knows it's brooken:)

Instead of reporting that the badge doesn't work in the comments if you report it to the Kongregate support staff (with a screenshot) they will award you the badge.

I found "A grain of truth" some days ago ... glad I was able to play this part, too. Love this story and hope for more. (No badge here, too)

Brilliant! A no quibble 5 star rating right there! The story was compelling, the artwork beautiful, and the panel animation was the icing on the cake.

This is a sublime game. It is quite simple and easy, but it is the music, sounds, and scenery that makes this game a pleasure to play. Not only that, but this game has inspired me to finally learn to program games myself, which is quite a feat, considering my actual lack of RL time. That is in no small part the reason I enjoy this game site all of us share. Very fun game.

I love everything about it except for the lack of a sequel. I want to know the forgotten past of Myosotis. You can't just start a story and not end it. It's just mean doing that.

Some times you can´t finish the story. You need to talk with every NPC before asking for the man, and be sure to take control of the drunk man before talking to the drawned.

Thank you to the Rudowski Brothers for this wonderful story... Just remember to ask every single person you meet about Derrida because that is how you will find every single piece of the puzzle before you can complete the game. I ready love the Trader of Stories Series... simply mysterious and excellent!

I can't think of a fantasy-edged-with-science-fiction story with such gorgeous worldbuilding (and art!) since Carla Speed McNeil's "Finder" series. The depth of the world behind this short adventure is staggering, in addition to intriguing and interest-piquing. Everything from race and culture, to domestication and architecture, to spirituality and even the insular nature of small villages, is so much more developed than in any other game I can think of.
Do NOT miss Marek Rudowski's blog, where you can see the artwork and read about the development process for the larger adventure comic / game "The Big Old Tree That Dreamed," AKA "The Trader of Stories," which "The Bell's Heart" (this game) is just a small part of! It's at traderofstories.blogspot.com and is a must-read for anyone who enjoyed playing the Pastel-Games-licensed first 'episode' here.

So after buying the recipes and casting the spells you can sell the recipes back to the trader... for the same price you bought them. I wonder how does this guy make profit

A wonderful game with enchanting music, beautiful art, a lovely - if haunting - story, a good interface and is an engaging idea very well executed. Well done and thank you - keep up the good work :)

It's a good game, but rather short. I'd love to see more chapters added to Myosotis' "story." Are there any other adventures?

Hey....I've seen this game HEAPS of times and have always wanted to play it, but I always came up with the play screen and when I clicked play, it wouldn't let me play. But just recently I have been using Internet Explorer instead of Chrome(due to some minor problems concerning the arrow keys) and amazingly, I was able to play this wonderful peice of work. I am glad that I have found a way to play it and I hope that I will see more games. I am expecting that there will be a few more sequels to this....the last one consisting of who this main character is and what their story is about. Again, I congratulate you for this wonderful game....5/5 plus a thumbs up.

The reason I love this game so much is that it is not like other puzzle games.
In other puzzle games u get stressed and angry when you fail a level or something, but in this game, you can relax and just enjoy the game, artwork and the beautiful music! Good job with a perfect game! :D

Really a great game. Only ennoyign thing was that the potion bottle is hard to find. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but i noticed you can sell the drunkard for 2 acorns XD There is also a bug though that makes the dialog disappear if you scroll over an item during it. (Happened to me when talknig to mayor, had to restart the game :( )

I found a glitch, if the man in the bar who derrida is before you talk talk to him, you wont be able to finish the game

There's a bug that makes the game incompletable once you forget to ask Meridda who Meridda is. This renders the game bugged/impossible to complete. Let the developer know!

It is an amazing game, the story is beautiful, it made me sob a little, so sad, but i really enjoyed the game, i loved everything, thank you for creating it.

Great point-and-click adventure, but there seem to be a couple bugs with things disappearing when you go trough things quickly, and achievements not working propperly. I brewed the potion to pour in the lake, but I clicked away before the flask filling animation finished and it didn't give me the potion, stopping me from progressing any further. Same happened with the drunk guy dissappearing after I got his hair and clicked on the room where you can buy the wine bottle.
Also, once I made a third game file because of these issues, and completed the game, Kongregate doesn't give me the achievement. Clicking the finished save file is no good either, because you are left without the wheel and can't finish the game "again" to try get the achievement to work.
I loved the game though, these are just some unintentional issues that make it a bit annoying and tedious to complete.
