Question:
Is there a guide showing what weapons provide what combat reflexes?
Also, the combat reflexes seem a bit random.

just to be a pain, the description says that 8 years have passed since the events of chapter 2...the way I'm reading it, shouldn't it say chapter 1?

You can exit menus like the Options screen by pressing Z, like it says in the Instructions bit there.
(Maybe that should be clearer in-game though... But do people complain before even TRYING things?)

Man.. I was clicking so fast and the conversation with the 2nd guy took 5 minutes..

I got stuck in the options screen. Has this happened to anyone else? This is a pretty major bug so I'm giving it a 1 star until fixed.

never found the run button but this is the kind of rpg flash that i played for over 2 hours ive never palyed a flash rpg for more than 2 hours except for a few you deserve a 5/5 for this forget whoever thinks it sucks this game rocks hard.

Maybe it's just me, but I would like a run away button. At least from monsters. Random battles to get rather annoying at points even though you did a good job of not making them too common.

I don't like this game... it takes way too long to learn teh controls and is too story-based for me... its an ok game, just not my type.

well im in the 2nd level of the Grotto. where you fight the 4 people who claim to be the "worlds saviors" or whatevs. i find it impossible to beat.
anyone have some pointers for a new guy to the game?

16below, even though this game *is* very reliant upon its story, I think you're being a bit too judging. Think about it. The first chapter only covered a few days. Would you even really *want* to play 8 more years? An RPG to me is essentially an interactive movie/book and things like flashforwarding 8 or even sometimes more years is used to move the story along mainly because not much of interest happens. Or at least nothing that can't be summed up easily. I'm pretty sure Pseudo is the real maker.

Are people seriously complaining because they have to READ? What's next, are you going to complain about your food because you're forced to chew it?
I'm enjoying the game thus far, despite the tiny text. 4/5 for now, but 5 when you fix the size issue.

I dont mind wordy RPGs...but this is a bit much. A lot of it was kinda pointless too. I love the style, but again wish the text was larger, and a little less of it...

lol I got a glitch as the miners started talking to the bandits I got into a fight, then the fight and conversation were going at the same time, then I didnt have to fight the bandits but I had the picture of the people fighting as wherever I went and then I couldnt go into any more fights.

This seems, stolen... I can just feel it.
Primarily because the creator had the game intensly story based, and cutting out eight years of gameplay and substituting with a few paragraphs just doesn't seem like something he would do. And he can't resize it?
I'm flagging for now but giving it a 4, I could be wrong, you never know :/

Pseudolonewolf: when you publish you should be able to set the size there. If the html doesn't specify a size(which is what Kongregate does) it will default to that. If that doesn't work you can use swfmill to change it.

Hey... get rid of some of the bugs... then i will play it start to fin :P and hopefully badges.. you dont see many rpgs with badges... mex mersia chapters do.... carvanerer.... feudalism...

1/5 Just because its barely playable... A game should be enjoyable, the player shouldn't have to read text and think about what i might possible say for more than 5 seconds... and i took around 5 seconds trying to read what each place on the town was... Then theres the fact of text... Flash games should stay simple... do this, do that... i shouldn't have to read a couple paragraphs just to understand what I'm suppose to do. Anyway... caught me in a bad time, not in the mood for reading all that crap...

very great sence of humor, i love this one, and can't wait till the next 6 six chapters all come out
i think in the end, you should put them all together into one big game
