So, the younger son can dash, the elder son can double jump, the grandfather can defy gravity, while the parents.. their special attributes are nothing but nuisance when they are together?

Well, just as I thought, a great response once it got released. This game turned out beautifully; great work sihirbaz.

I'm finding the controls painfully unresponsive, with the characters often rolling into pitfalls or traps no matter how hard I hammer the jump button.

This game is too wasy to enjoy. It is also trying to hard to be sad. Furthermore, try to stick to a concept. There are three levels in particular, 13, 21 and 22, that are straight up platformering levels with nothing else behind it. This is fascinatingly avrage game.
2/5

LOL, after I beat the 6th level i got the Peice of Cake acheivement which made me laugh, because Portals + Cake = THE CAKE IS A LIE. (+) if you get the joke.

The story narration is really good and the levels are really fun. I really liked level 21 where it says you need to be patient and the cannon ball hits the chain and swings it to you.

The story in this game is great, I liked the narrators voice :P Great game overall, I'd like to see more games have great stories attached to them. 5/5. :)

Normally I don't take the time to add comments for games. But there are a few things I would like to note: 1. I usually mute music for games but I love the music choice and find it relaxing while playing the game. Another thing to note is that a ton of games don't really add voice overs or things like that, I though adding voice to the game was spot on. The last point is that you actually take the time to respond to comments and feedback of users, most developers could care a less or don't take the time to respond. Good job and God bless.

From the well executed introduction to the fun and interesting gameplay (not overly complex, but far from overly easy) this has been one of the more interesting games to hit Kongegrate for some time. Good job. 5/5

I don't know if it is already mentioned, but it would be nice if you could disable the continue button at the end oft the bonus lvls.

Could I just point out that your description should say "Help Walter reunite his unloving family in this puzzle-platform game." Reunite, not reunion... Sorry, but descriptions with poor English drive me nuts!

Having played through the whole thing, it's a fascinating game. The framing story is a bit disconnected from the gameplay itself but it's still an interesting experience.
I like that you can skip levels but I honestly have no idea who levels 15 and 24 are supposed to be finished. I'm probably missing something but the elevator doesn't move and there's no way I can see to change the gravity in the dinner one. Probably a puzzle for someone more clever than me but again, glad I could skip them. It's cleverly done throughout though.
you are absolutely right about disconnection between gameplay and story. that's something I'd love to & will work hardly to fix in my future games.
btw, you can press space near elevator to activate it in level 24, sadly I forgot to add an instruction in that level. thanks for stating it.
and thanks a lot for playing and sharing your thoughts

I love this game, it has a good balance and allows players to work out the solutions. The "game" doesnt get in the way of the puzzles, it compliments it nicely. I like the Style, look and feel of the game too. Thank you, I have enjoyed playing to so far.

Fantastic game, very fun. Obviously a couple of small fixes needed (specifically, giving me back the 10 minutes I spent looking for two more hearts on level 6!), but other than that a great game. It's a relatively simple concept, collect the hearts and get into the portal, but combined with the occasional time limits, and the requirement to use different family members at once, means that it's got enough of a challenge to stop you breezing through it in a couple of minutes. I'd give it 8/10.

Hmm...might just be my computer, but the opening scene with the voice and the words, about 3/4 of the way through, the animation fell behind the voice, right about when he was describing his wife. By the end, it was a couple sentences off.
hi, thanks for the feedback, that was an issue I was aware of. words fall behind of voice if you suffer framerate by any means (switching to other tab, right clicking etc.)
it's fixed now but I haven't uploaded the new version yet.

Very interesting game, the progression is smooth, and the addition of a few different characters with different abilities helps the puzzle aspect become more prominent. The little mini-games are also quite entertaining, great job on the game.
Hello, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I also noticed that there's only 1 heart in level 6. This is definetly not intended and will be fixed soon. Thanks again

Phenomenal game. I loved the gameplay, it was juuuuuust the right length, held nice variety, kept it interesting, and nice framing story. Can't wait for this to be out of beta so I can give it 5/5 :)

This game does remind me of w0ne; thanks for the memories! It is a well done game. :) I wish you good luck for when this gets out of beta.

I had the loading issue as well. Nice game though, sort of reminds me of w0ne (if you've ever heard or played that) but with a more puzzle element and story to it.
