Well I finally got around to fixing the bug where the scores don't register correctly.
As for the "You won" I had intended it to read "You won $5000" but obviously thats not how it looked. I changed it to "You made..."
Thanks for the feedback, let me know if you find anything else wrong.

LOVE that you coded it. Buggy as all get-out, though. Rightmost 1K gave 0 one time, 1K another, left 1K gave 500 when I had $600 scored. 10K gave 0 when I hit it at the end. Another suggestion - draw in the line above which you need to release the chip.
The only reason I ever considered going on the price is right was the desire to play plinko - I have no idea why, but I've loved this game for ages.

Serious bugs in your scoring code. Sometimes 10,000 gives 10,000, sometimes it gives 0. Sometimes 0 gives 0, 1,000, or 10,000.

Yes, I can see the difference, but there is still a similarity.
However, everything depends on how you put in the coin, the galton board has only one place to put it in ;)

Seriously? Plinko? WFT?
Guess it's a nice programming exercise. Crap for a game though.
Also, buggy. Landing in the right-most "0" gave me 10,000 points. And a chip landed in the left-most 100 and the game never let me drop another, even after hitting reset a few times.
...can't believe someone coded Plinko.

Interesting link about the galton board M3nTo5, however the principles do not apply the same way here. The Galton board begins with one nail, and every subsequent layer has one more nail. The plinko board is not like this, because it has a uniform width the whole way down. When a chip hits the wall, it does not have a 50/50 chance, it has a 100% chance of going back the way it came from. This throws off the bell curve.
Imagine you were to create a Galton Board that increased in width by one nail in each row for 10 rows, but then had 50 rows afterwards all of width 10 (actually it would be 10-9-10-9 to stagger the nails) the result would be an even distribution of balls landing in each of the slots at the bottom.

Sorry for the scoring bugs, I'm not gonna spend any time fixing them because this is a dead-end game. Like I said in a previous post, it was more of an experiment than a game anyways.

Well, simple math.
The board is not working correctly, landing in the middle should have the highest possibility because of a value of 1/2 (50% left, 50% right), but I'm not getting it pretty often.
For sure it depends on how you put the coin in, make it a little heavier.

boring, but the 1/5 is for the fact that i drop my last chip and scored 10,000 but my final score was 1600 if you cant even get the scoring right you cant get more than 1/5

There is one time I hit a 1000 and I got 0 and then another time I hit a 10000 and it gave me a 0. I ended with 20000 and I still had 1 chip left. Just a bug I found on my first time.

Good catch absenm, the glitch where a 0 will not end the game is fixed, i'm still looking into the other one though. Thanks!

Neat idea. A little buggy. Everytime I encountered a "0" score, the game would not end with the last plinko. Also, one time I got a "0" and was awarded a "10,000". If those things could be cleaned it this makes a worthwhile time waster. 3 out of 5 stars for now.

Yea I realize theres no re-playability :-/ Not expecting to much from the game, it was more of an experiment than anything. I hope some people have fun playing it though!
