Ha, second mission: you are meant to save Farro. But I locked the elevator door without him in it. So he's dead. Mission accomplished, though?

As for those of you who didn't read one of the earlier in-game tips, the aliens use the ventilation system to move about the colony, and will constantly spawn new ones inside there to replace the ones you kill. If they didn't, it would be far to easy to just sit still and kill everything as it came to you, then complete whatever mission objectives you have.

Well executed, fun, replayable missions, I like it! I thought it was much more reminiscent of "Space Hulk" than X-Com though, but that's not a bad thing at all.

3rd mission.. the other 2 guys dead.... low ammo.. get to the elavator with no bullets, and the aliens block the door....

I really enjoy this game. It looks, feels, and sounds nice, is challenging enough to be fun, and is overall quite well made. I particularly like that each trooper has unique, well-thought out abilities. One thing I would like to see in the future is each trooper gaining experience individually in addition to the system already in place, with the improvements being superficial or minor per level.

3\5 cause I don't get how aliens pop up from nowhere when it's their turn against me. I mean, I killed em all, no need to have "alert state" active and here they come attacking me... How's that?

I think you should add a kill-counter for each trooper and provide additional xp for killing aliens - not too much, but it feels wrong not to be awarded xp for killing them..

loved the end of the tutorial, after I killed the first alien, you have to leave the ship because there are to many lifeforms. I was like, no way I stay and kill them all. killed 1,2,3,4 and 5 of them. after the last kill my reaction was: I cant take this any longer, time to leave

This game is really intense! Don't usually get impressed by these sort of games/storylines but this is amazing.
The feeling when one member of the team fights of 5-6 aliens at the elevator before entering is so movie-like, i love it! 5/5

So I figured out what my problem was, I needed to update my flash player, I was still on an older version. Flash updated, game works now.
It's pretty silly that people down-rated my last comment just because i was having an issue they weren't. I mean, I wasn't shitting on the game I was just looking for help.

Am I missing something? I start the first level and all I see is one little trooper standing on a completly siloueted structure of some sort, with no options to move the trooper or interact with anything.
Is the game bugging for me? cause I've tried reloading it multiple times and that's still all I get, but no one seems to have this complaint in the coments.

lol first mission(?) with the 2 guys needing to get to the elevator, the other guy doesn't need to be in it before the door closes... XD does he die?

i always have my doubts about flash turn-based games, but this one was actually good, and for the developer comment where it says that will make another one
why not just make this to a simple pc game, with better graphics and more things and the stuff you plan for the possible sequel as an expansion?
even, can i join the project? i have some skills with pixelart, and free time

Oh My Fcuking God. What a masterpiece. Reminds me my teenage times when I was playing a game called UFO enemy unknown or something like that, on PC without windows, launched on DOS, with like 100 MHz and 16 MB RAM :D. Good memories :D. I do wonder why there are not many turn based tactics games like this one. I absolutely love these. One more great game that reminds me this one is Jagged Alliance. Do I have to say... 5/5 from me :D

I rated 5/5, then I +1 all the comments that said great game because it's one of my favourite gametypes. Then I played, and it surpassed expectation. I loved on first sight in order.. the medals.. the upgrades (and reset button).. the informative mouseovers for everything and the progress mouseovers for medals, and badges etc.. and I only just started playing, there's a lot to love, hope you make a sequel or add more chapters.

Feel like I'm dating myself, but I will still play X-com every now and then. Nice flash game. The best of this type I have seen. I would love to see another.

this is a great game. As a old timer who has gamed for 40 years using the old style board and moving the pieces by hand many games took days even months to complete. I love technology, point and click. I may never have gone to school if this was around then. lol Now I just skip work. Keep up the good work.

I remember back when I was in middle school when I feel in love with flash games. One of the first series I got myself into was Modern Tactics, which basically melted down everything from Call of Duty into a turn based strategy. Truth be told, it worked rather well, being able to swap your soldiers equipment, classes, and perks to suit your need while keeping modes such as CTF and Search and Destroy and even introducing a Stealth mode which added even more to the game than I thought possible. However, as the series progressed the developer suffered problems with glitches and by the 4th game the series was a flop. I wish from you StormAlligator to take the potential of this game and make it into replay value. Add some scenarios or custom maps (Map editor maybe?), ability to swap weapons and equip so we can upgrade more without overpowering ourselves and perhaps soldier-on-soldier battles which would work better than you would think they would. Please, expand on this game!

so this colony has had no life signs for over 6 weeks... yet, somehow a scientist locks himself away in a room with provisions for a few days... and survives! ... we all know he survived to tell the tale of our epic super soldiers lol! GREAT GAME!!!! its really fun

I felt like being a rebel and charged towards the Aliens in the tutorial. I love this game already for having the option to at least try that. <3

I feel bored of aliens after playing so many games. But this actually was a really good game. That and I like seeing Taylor use the shotguns :3.

Very well done game! I was impressed with it during the first two levels and then realized it's only been played a handful of times. I hope more people notice it! :)
