FRUSTRATING with the 2x ball thingy and frustrating in lvl 10 that is the whole lvl with the -><- thingys.Very frustrating. And the sound is a bit stupid.

Stop whining. There's a pause, it's p. I didn't even look in instructions to find it. The extra ball thing was the developers choice, he hasn't changed it so obviously he likes it.

Pretty enjoyable game and I really like the minimalist graphics. However, a couple of gameplay elements are lacking. For one, that whole extra ball thing is a major problem on endurance mode. Also, the scoring is a little weird - no big deal on that one though.

Needs a pause button more then it needs anyting.
But it also needs to have the extra ball thing fixed.
WARNING:
EXTRA BALL USES A LIFE!

Never mind me. This game would not be really good, even with more responsive controls. The WHOLE game is sluggish and actionless, the multiball "feature" is beyond dumb the way it's programmed, not to mention that it's just pointless to create a lousy 15 levels and let them give you lousy 60 points to go through the utter frustration of beating "Endurance mode". This game is hopeless, really. And how does it manage to rape my CPU so thoroughly, that is makes the game EVEN MORE sluggish?

Occasionally, the ball hits the paddle and sticks to it, rolling over its surface and falling. I've lost Endurance twice that way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game is fun and challenging, especially on endurance...but losing a ball when you get the multi ball upgrade is pretty lame.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What the hell? Honest to God, I was playing endurance mode, and the center of the paddle turned into a picture of the 40-year-old Virgin. No comments, I am neither. But... What the Jesus waffles?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i agree that losing a life in multi-ball sucks. best to avoid the multi-balls and take your time, in order to get the impossible achievment.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
thought it was bad...the momentum of the roundish paddle makes it take forever to just complete one level. and making the orbs hittable after the fall makes it even more annoying...

Great original concept, iced with awesome designing and addictive gameplay. Great work TastyLamp! Although, I can see why pong wasn't programmed with an orbular racket...

I love this game. It's addictive. It's frustrating though that you lose a life when you drop a ball when you've got multiple in the air, especially in endurance mode. I really prefer the rule most games like this use where you lose the life when you have no balls in play.

The graphics are great. I really like the simple color scheme and clean appearance. You also have an original and impressive twist on the original "Breakout" concept. My only complaint is the sluggish control response when using the arrow keys. There is a little delay and too much loose sliding. With a curved bat/paddle, the controls should be a bit tighter. One other note (not a complaint, just a suggestion), try using music that loops instead of having a distinct beginning and end. It gives more of a seamless feel to the game.

okay, now im pissed, here is something that needs to get changed immediatley....grrr..
on level 4 i had just gotten done hitting the last one, i hit it rather hard, and my ball went down off the bottom, but instead of taking me to the next level, i got game over...serious..a great game, but thats dumb sh*t
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
make arrow control then its easier to control and then is the game better and lose ur with extra ball is not so good.. and the hard badg is not hard but the impossible badg is really hard but its not for nothing impossible and graffix are good:)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
not only that but, in a way, the arrows being your main movement makes perfect sense, at least to me, so i say, in my opinion, don't bash the game until you beat it..if you can make it all the way through endurance mode and earn that badge, would it really feel as good if it was easy to get? because it wouldn't a hard badge to get then...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you know, im wrong in a way, ask someone who finished the endurance mode and got the badge, i bet they had to play quite a few times to earn that badge, why are all of us such pansies that we can't rise to the challenge, all of you are simply quitters, you think, oh well, i didn't need the badge anyways

*cking stupidity! Button "menu" does not ask for confirmation. Stupid graphics require to switch quality and then you accidentally click on M and lose all progress in stupid game.
Hate it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Quite fun game, but in endurance mode if you get the extra ball power up and you lose one of the balls, you lose and that makes no sense at all.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i don't know if anyone else mentioned this..but theres one thing about thing game thats not so great. i mean, i give it a very high score, it is a good game, but when you get the mutli-ball function, losing one of the extra balls, should not force you to lose a life, its a free ball, thus you should be able to lose one of them, this makes it especially difficult on endurance, because the multi-ball effect carries over from level to level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
losing life from extra ball = stupid. now if getting the extra ball gave you an extra life too, then it would be ok to lose one.
it's so slow. and sometimes quite difficult to control where the ball is going.
2/5

And yes, music sucks too. Always, just ALWAYS remember to let player mute the music in your games, man. There are really few flash games with nice music, and even in them I'd rather play something from my mp3's.
