I like this game, a very nice idea to have a continual boss fight. Now I'm gonna try some of the harder difficulties.

the game looks pretty cool but like many people im playing on a laptop so using a mouse as well as arrow keys is near impossible, if possible could you add wasd as a choice instead of mouse? just another game i cant really play otherwise...

I find some patterns to be much harder than others, and since some of them repeat in endless mode, it could use some balancing.

Updated the game with some of the changes requested! Some things, such as auto targetting, will have to wait until a sequel, though. Though you won't want basic auto targetting in it, I assure you. Keep up the comments guys!

I feel like the power-ups blended in with many of the bullets. I found myself only noticing them right before they left the screen. Maybe a color that stands out from the others would help distinguish enemy fire from +1 rocket level...although that could have been done of purpose to make the game harder.

Played on easy with no life lost and no bomb fired:Baaah this is easy.I`ll skip the medium and pass on to the hard mode then.* 1 wave later * **** this is... BOSS BATTLE
Now seriously it reminds me of bullet heaven...without 1 pixel hit box.

some of the boss moves are quite difficult, while others are too easy, i might recommend balancing some of them e.g. the warning arrow drop down, maybe less warning?

He may spit out lasers and deadly balls, but Mr. Rectangle deserves some serious respect for his determination.
Captain Triangle deserves a medal for determination too!

@LordSandwich There's spots in almost every wave on easy where you can just sit and not get hit. On medium, these spots are few and far between. On hard, they don't exist.

Hey, TheFinalChapters, I don't know if this is the case on other difficulty settings, but on Easy on the very last boss life you can just sit at the very bottom of the screen and it won't hurt you. Good subject for fixing, yes?

Now we just need the boss to be a cute girl, the main character to be a cute girl, lets call her, i dunno, reimu or marisa, make about 10 different versions of it, and rename it touhou.

Is it just me or do power-ups stop spawning after a certain point in endless mode? More importantly, is it meant to be like this?

On the boss where it bounced up and down the screen from right to left in a zig zag, after I killed the boss, it still killed me

It was a rather short game, in the end.
I had to use all my bombs at that inverse-movement part (I guess I suck at using non-standard controls), but other than that the game was surprisingly entertaining AND doable by a non-genius :3

First try: Cleared on Normal with a score of 106945. With one life left on the double-laser card, I decided to take no chances on the Last Word, bombing multiple times. This probably hurt my score.

I would have preferred it to have auto-targeting, since it isn't too difficult to manage. That way we would have got rid of the mouse and we would have been able to use our dominating hand for maneuvring. Given that choice, since sometimes there actually is the necessity not to kill the boss too fastly to get a power up, you could have add the option to stop the firepower with spacebar. Endless mode also starts really unchallenging; I would have personally liked to have the option to start directly from wave 41 to avoid the boredom of first waves. 4/5

I encountered a glitch on the second boss on medium mode where once i died, i spawned on the far left unable to move horizontal

Very fun game. Each wave of the boss was new and very clever. The movement was smooth and the graphics made the game look like an optical illusion at points. 5/5 Favorited.
