Ive played another version of this...and all I have to say is that I am dissapointed in this one. Not complicated enough...and as someone previously mentioned its slow. I think in the other version they actually let you increase the enemy and ally rate of speed. It seems to be a simpler version of what they already made...with new maps. Like I said. Dissapointing and a bit boring.

Would the longtime fans of the game who have been rating down the speed and preview criticisms please try PLAYING the game in its present form? Without preview, it's impossible to beat even the easy stages without lots of trial and error playthroughs. Without speedup, all those extra playthroughs will take hours per map. The game used to be a challenging, slow-paced classic. Now it's too time consuming to bother with.

What happened to the wave preview option? I'm glad I already had the badges for this one, I can't imagine trying a 40-wave level with no ability to plan more than one wave ahead.

There didn't seem to be a point in putting different types so I put all but 4 the same color... Then there was an absoring enemy and only 4 guys could attack him... lol

I played this game ages ago, and for some reason my file isn't here still. But never the less I went to start again, but every single time I kill an enemy I get like a second of lag, after every kill, which never happened before. I have no idea what happened.

It's an alright game, but the isometric grid view can be annoying - you can't click your units if an enemy is on the pathway in front of them for example. And no speed up button...I've played for 45 minutes and only done 3 maps.

The game needs to be much much faster. Either just do everything faster by like 3x in general or give us a fast forward button. I'm only on level 2, wave 4 out of 20 and already bored to hell watching those slowass crows take 5 minutes to walk around. It's a good game I bet but the superslow pace is very annoying.

The stage took so long that my laptop went to sleep before I could finish. The flash crashed and I had to start over again.
This game is missing a lot of essential tower defense basics such as FAST forward, SELLING units (or at least DELETE), or maybe even a SAVE in the middle of a level so I don't have to spend a consecutive hour (or 2) playing one stage.

If you're only playing for the Badge of the Day, then do the Shoreview Inn map. Add a single green mage to the centermost spot closest to the entrance/exit. Don't freak out, he can handle the first waves by himself. Upgrade Specialist as soon as he glows to get poison. Repeat for the next wave or two. By the second wave, you get 62 kills with a single unit.
