hard should be HARD. now it is a bit too easy.
i think the arachnophobia and the last lever are the best in this episode. and I love the vulture :D

i agree with bluzekat21, being given an army is a lot more strategic then just making lots of units. otherwise, all the battles would be the same. build units, win. with a set army. use strategy, we win, u noobs who suck lose.

played a few levels...haven't I done this before? like...twice? 1/5 fun in the first game, dull now. Please, you're a good developer, just make new games. I don't consider this a new game. it's Battalion 1.5

I have to say, it's been a great series. From the humble beginnings in Nemesis (along with the humble graphics and a storyline with massive potential) to the Warmachines in Skrimish, the Spiders/Lancers in Ghosts, and, finally, the Vulture Drones here. As if that were not enough, continuous graphical updates and an amazingly intriguing story that kept me wanting more, always. Well done urbansquall, kudos to you.

In response to those who want warmachines and to make your own armies, I counter: I rather enjoyed having specific armies. It makes for an interesting challenge. If you don't like a specific unit, you're not using it right. Learn all the specifics of your arsenal to get the most out of this game. Battalion ftw

I voted this 4/5 even though other than a plane nothing else has changed. Levels seems much less challenging in this one.
just another level pack to finish the story.

I didn't notice much improvement, if anything, it has gotten worse. Aside from a few added units, nothing has changed. Regarding the levels themselves, giving you preset units and nothing to build with was a terrible idea. You can't play through the Dragoon missions using your own strategies (e.g Stealth Tank to hold units up) instead you must use the units at hand (for a 1/3 of the missions...), which makes little sense given that the Dragoons are allies of the Federation (can't they simply lend them a WM...?). The Dragoons didn't have much going for them either, except for the near-useless 'Jammer Truck' and their 'nobility'. Maps also seemed very cramped in comparison to the ones in the other games and the 'save' issue still remains. It's annoying having to manually save via the 'Quit' menu, instead of having an auto-save after each mission. Perhaps just return the player to the title screen after each match to avoid this issue? So much for finishing the series on a high note - 2/5

my view is closer to i_like_games's view. I'm glad the series is over so the dev can stop wasting his time doing the same thing over and over again

purdinpopo if you actually looked you would have noticed in the options menu that the music can be shut off, the options menu is the obvious place to look so don't condemn this game just because you couldn't be bothered to look.

i played straight through on hard, no problems, in all honesty a bit too easy, but still a good game, love the series mate, 5/5 again :)

Game has glitches. Occasionally the side scroll arrows stop working. Also, game tends to freeze after save+quit reload.
