To quantify the control scheme bitching - it's hard to build a NEW pylon because when the mouse is equidistant, it has a hard time deciding which point to start the new pylon from.
Should make it so you just have to click a point, then click off it to create a new pylon, or click 2 points to connect them (keep that like it is)
Really needs sound. :(

@Faust.I don't know what is going on with the highscores!!I had 10832 and it got deleted!then another player's score got deleted and my brother's too and now yours!!at least here on kongregate our score stays. (too bad i had 10832 before kongregate added score list,i ll just have to do it again...)

great game. Here's an idea though. Have different materials and different prices. This way you can try to build as high as you can and as cheaply as possible

1808 meters. Every time you reinforce, you'll discover a new place that needs to be reinforced instead. Building as precisely as possible is crucial.

Master, Jigjaw, you do need to worry about weight, though.
Here's a little hint - all pylons concerning foundation points are stronger than average pylons.

i stuffed up =( i clicked to slow and it started leaning and then i put to much on the other side to re-balance it.
but until then it was barely moving here is what to do.
build a rectangle on top of first thing.
then cross over and join it corner to corner.
then on one side build one going straight up let it fall towards the center then at the right moment connect it to make a triangle. build this in every rectangle. it should make a connecting point in the center of the rectangle join each of these points to the one directly above them and th one 2 spaces above them. do the same for every point on the side.
once you have a few levels like this connect the the side pylons from higher up and lower down to make star shapes with the center join.
unless you do something to over balance it this tower will never fall.

I had an absolutely colossal tower; hundreds of pylons by the time I reached 300 metres. I build outwards from the base and make it about 3 times as wide as if I'd built straight up. I got a bit impatient though at around 100 metres and narrowed it down (it lags on my crappy laptop with so many pylons). I reached 1700 before the whole thing came down, which was a glorious sight to behold!

i think ive worked out how to build it without it falling ive worker out a structure which in theory will never fall (still trying it up to 1500)
would like to see maybe a wind strength aspect the higher you build the stronger the wind to the point where wind alone can destroy an unsupported tower. ideas such as new bases and pylons that other people have suggested also sound good

There have been a few card-worthy games recently (this and Drone Wars come to mind), but even if this game misses it, it's definitely deserving of badges. Suggestions for variation are also a good idea. A sandbox mode would be great (i.e. continue after a structural failure, but no badges or high score). Some other variations such as different bases and pylon physics would be awesome.

this game has some elements related to dolphin olympics since it's all about how high you can get.
so go ahead and add badges for it!!!!

Would be really nice with high scores for heights only too. It's fun to play fast and get multiplier bonuses, but playing to build as high as possible is even more fun imho. Engineering is fun! My record so far is 1477 meters. Tip: When your construction breaks, look at what part breaks first. Next time you build, try to reinforce that part. The joints at the core of my construction all have 8 bars connected to them atm!

The best is a hexagonal grid (A hexagon divided into 6 segments). You start like you do in the tutorial, then put a dent in one from top two struts, and build off that. BEST explosions.

Fun game. Addicting because of the simplicity. Suggestions would be for music, just leave it at guitar, get rid of the rest. Also maybe you could have more backgrounds. I felt the physics were solid.

Its no fun building as high as you can. Just get up pretty high, and fall it. Hilarious, 10/10 and recommending to nerdy friends =)

This is a good play any time game. So simple in design and controls. I also love the music. Physics are somewhat lacking, though 4/5

Very Good game, nice work with overall balance and momentum, work was likely put into this game, Definitely worth the time spent playing.
