A boring and simple point and click. Its humor ranks to about what I'd come up with when I was 10. The music is just public domain stuff because the creator didn't want to have to write any. The puzzles are easy to figure out, even though it still sometimes devolves into random guessing. Got bored of it quickly. 2/5
The problem with these games is they rarely make any sense. You have to use random items in random places to try to progress. The way to get around this is to leave clues that hint at what you should do, but this game doesn't give enough clues for everything. For example, the goat wants three souls, but one of the souls is a fish. Fish don't have souls! You never left any clue that that would be right, we have to just guess by using anything we have to try to get it to work.
I need to find three sticks? Due to the art style, there are a lot of things that look like sticks but are just background. Also, didn't I just cut down a tree? Were there no sticks on that?! Not to mention all the little dry bushes that seem to have plenty of sticks on them. And a tiny resolution to boot. At least I don't also need to gather seven tiny scraps of paper...
I'm not sure if it's my autism or what, but I can't seem to understand much of what's said here. They couldn't be bothered to have a native or at least fluent English-speaking person help them translate? That's like, Zero Wing lazy.
Let's see... Ah, "Hope" is the energy bar. Energy games get an automatic 1/5. The idea of charging players to continue playing your game means it's not actually a free game. It's more of a free trial that you can renew every few days. Rewards given for being idle, check. That makes it half an idle game, which I also hate. It's times like these that I wish I could filter out these sorts of games. It's not free; you charge to continue playing. 1/5
Okay, this is a somewhat common mistake that a lot of you developers seem to be making, but not everyone has screens big enough to fit everything into. 1366x768 is a common size but it's too small to see everything you have in this game. Please keep in mind that we don't all have large screens when you design your games.
Or you know.... use some of the free hope we give you every day or play some of the modes that don't require Hope. Just a thought.
