Wait, completing that tutorial-quest - whatever - already REQUIRES you to spend money??? This shameless impertinence alone demands a one-star-rating. I am very wary of games that are so heavily advertised but I genuinely didn't expect it to be that awful.
So am I seeing this right: Some levels have multible solutions but only one of them will be accepted as valide? And you have to guess which one? Had that happen on lvl 2 and 3 so far.
Gosh, I adore this game! The artwork is outstanding and the game excels at creating a calm, soothing atmosphere with every part of it, the art, the music and the gameplay. An absolute gem!
This is one of the lowest ratings I've seen on a Botd game. And I can kinda see why. This game is neither entertaining, nor really funny or clever or insightful. Taunting the player by dragging it out so much on top of that feels kind of insulting.
Oh my gosh, it's really worth to take the time and talk to every npc! Some lines are hilarious, some are ridiculous and some are ... uh, interesting O.O
No, I was actually wrong! Vim is a passive skill, that automatically levels after every battle fought, hooray! You have to go through 40 battles though for one hero to master it ...
Unfortunately, there's no way to master Vim (resist zombification), since no random encounter enemy can zombify, or get Bonestones for everyone, right?
Went from floor 39 straight to 94, was unmindful for a moment and forgot to use health potion after before battle, died. Several hours of progress lost -.- Lesson learned: Use your escape wings! It's better to farm gems and some artifacts. Otherwise you might have significant trouble to start again even from the next to last shop, if you only have a crappy weapon or no good defense among your artifacts.
Huh, I have to admit: This is actually one of the better Papa's. Customers are more forgiving than usual, even with waiting (!), allowing for a more relaxed gameplay. Plus you can achieve a nice workflow. That makes this game somewhat enjoyable. What a twist!
