I don't get all the criticism of this game. Picross-type game with upgrades and unlockables and lots of replay value? Solid 5-star game. Really liked it.
So I tried to do a "no moles" run so I could bomb all the way through and make the miner fall all the way back through the hole... problem is even with no moles, the miner moves a little to the side, and when he falls back through, when he gets to the smaller hole made by the drill, ends up on a ledge. To blast all the way through, do a no-mole and no-drill run (upgraded pickaxe should be enough), and about 70-80 bombs. I don't have time to play through again, so good luck!

Pretty good upgrade/shooting game. I hope you fix the bug where bullets go right through the small enemy missiles, the ones the helicopters and boats shoot.
So after all this time, when I upgrade something, ALL my upgrades STILL go up. Too bad, this completely ruins the game. I was hoping they would fix this, but apparently not.
The story in this game kind of sucked me in as I kept playing. Lots of attention to detail. Not to give away too much, but I really liked the storyline of the last planet and how the people there are coping with their... situation. In the part where there's a war, the enemies kill each other and not just me. The ending was unexpected and really well done. Defnintely worth the time I put into playing. This is a unique take on Metroidvania, really well done.
WHAT?????!!! I was all the way to Lv. 30 Hellstone, i stop for a few weeks and come back, and the game nuked my save and now I'm back to poo? I used to really like this game, but not now. Wow.
This is a good game, but fix the hitboxes. I don't know how many times I've run over a gun or gas can and the game acts like I didn't pick it up. But if I'm even on the same part of the screen as a land mine, BOOM! Really frustrating, and doesn't add "challenge", just ruins the game. This game is a 5/5 if this is fixed.
I was thinking this was an awesome game.Then.... the gold coins started blinking??! Oh no, bad sign. Sure enough, then they DISAPPEARED! NOOOOoooo!!! Not disappearing money! In 2013 people still program in disappearing money, even though they know players hate it. I gave this game this highest rating I can give games with disappearing money: 4/5. It would be a solid 5/5 is disappearing money was taken out.
Found another one... delhi netherlands reykjavik prague... It has to be Delhi because the rest are in Europe. Nope, it's Netherlands because it's not a city... This game would be really addicting... with some much needed improvements.
Agree with the people who want Kixeye out of business. They are worthless greedy bastards who STOLE money from their loyal Kongregate players who spent money on this game. Does ANYONE even play their stupid FB version?
Unfortunately this game is by Kixeye/CasualCollective, who turned their back on all the players who spent time and money on Backyard Monsters and stopped supporting their games on Kongregate. All their games get 1/5 from me.
