Yeah. You literally used arrow key controls for left/right movement. Having the up arrow be jump is sort of intuitive and should have been at least not punished. Using the X key to jump when left and right arrows move laterally is clunky and weird, and makes your game less accessible. So does being a smug jerk when someone offers constructive criticism.
I came here to play this 'cause I enjoyed your most recent game, and wanted to see your other entries, but if you're like that to your audience, I don't think I'll be rewarding you with my clicks any further.
Also experiencing issues with collision with walls. It's not even a matter of trying to diagonally move, it's a matter of the hit box on either the sprite or the wall being too large. It's like threading a needle, but the needle's hole is actually 20% smaller than it looks because part of it is invisible. That ruined 3 runs for me, and if I hadn't already figured out all the individual steps, I'd probably have quit. Only sheer determination kept me going through that headache.
You really gotta upgrade your bonus design skills. No amount of ideas is gonna make up for the fact that you can't get any of the useful bonus point crap without paying for it. Retention on this player is at 0%
The full version is COMPLETELY worth it. They didn't pay me to say this. I paid them $3. And I'm so glad I did. There's like 3 times as much story in the full version, and so many more potatoes and upgrades to be had.
You know, I was really hoping for some sort of closure, for having finished ALL the dungeons. Even just a "Cograjidations! Yu hav defooted the evuhl whatsit in tha Tower of Stuf!" would have been nice. Are you telling me I killed all those Scoprios for nothing?
How the hell is there a badge that both is not reporting, and has NO way of proving it was earned without doing TEN TIMES what the badge is? Seriously, I cant find a statistics page ANYWHERE, and the only way to prove I've hit ten bees is to hit ONE HUNDRED to earn a trophy! What is wrong with these developers!?
