This is the third time since this game's release that I've been intrigued by the title, clicked the link, and been met with a stuck loading screen. I'm sorry, but this game was not ready for launch. Probably best to pull it until it is, lest your ratings and reputation end up in the gutter.
That's not a threat that I'll leave a low rating... I'm not rating it at all, because there's nothing for me to even rate! Please fix it, I WANT to love this idea!
It seems some player are not able to load the game at all, but we haven't discover where is the problem yet. If you could tell us what error you see or what's the last message the game show before freezing it could help us to find and fix this bug.
It's not that the times are off. It's the resource management. The timers are probably set correctly, but the tick time is FAR slower than it should be, because of the way the game has been all cocked up.
Do you ever actually playtest these things? You're so good at cute artwork and would-be fun premises, but SOOOO bad at coding! Stop making new games until you can fix the ones you already have!!!
Would be great but for a few things.... For one: You made an ESSENTIAL interface feature part of a timed event, namely the ability to add health to heroes all at once. The interface for doing so individually is incredibly clunky, and in no way fun. Second: Autosave is great, and all, but there's no indication of when a save happens, and they don't seem to happen triggered on anything but a timer, making page reloads (which, by the way, are required for daily bonuses as it stands) a perilous thing to engage in. A manual save button would make this SO much nicer. Or at least set the dailies to trigger while the game is active, too...
I think the part I hate most about this game is the 60 second wait... Most times, it doesn't take me half that long to prepare, except that if I go early, I won't earn more mana and gold to deal with the aftermath....
Why does everyone think it's about suicide? And there was never any "he". HER trip to the moon was an exercise in hiding, in this case, brought about by the her gender dysphoria. It's about hiding from the world, isolated from everything. The parts are obstacles that one must overcome during transition:
Fear of rejection and even violence from friends, family, and the public at large.
Lack of understanding, even within the rest of the LGBT community.
Difficulty finding treatment.
Feeling that everything is insurmountable.
The moon crumbling is coming out, and the her realization that she was her greatest enemy, and must put an end to this standing in her own way.
The return trip is transition, and finally presenting and living publicly as the woman she's always been.
When she walks to the edge again, she's not throwing herself off, she's free, and finally loving her life for the first time. It's not sad, but beautiful!
Thank you, Nicole, for such an amazing, deeply personal story.
I love the hidden hard mode... I just wish there was a way to do it without taking damage before getting the gun. Seems like it's currently impossible...
So, this would be great, but the powerups need some balance. I have the 3rd level wind gust recharge, and I have not, once, since buying the first one, have I gotten even ONE extra gust from it.
