Enjoyed it. Nice puzzles without being too frustrating. Had to use the lightbulb a lot though to save clicking all over the image. Would be nice if it used a mouse-over highlight.
Excellent little game with an original concept. Reminded me a little of playing Mahjong. Wasn't sure where you could take it from the first few easy levels, but those last ones get fairly complex. Great job. Needs a badge!!
Confused by the Chapter 10 cypher: I decrypted it by figuring out what the letters must be based on their position in words. But if felt like there might be a smarter way to do this. The hints mentioned a Caesar Cypher, but the letters were all at different offsets so it isn't that. Is there a general solution that tells us what ALL the letters in the alphabet would be?
Really nice little game. Quick and interesting with a good style and nice little puzzles. Do all the levels have three notes though?? Level 4 was the only level I found all three. I went back and replayed the early levels and couldn't see what I missed. Not sure an archaeologist should really be going around smashing up ancient pots mind you! :)
Quite enjoyed that. I thought the puzzles were pretty well set. The only part I missed was the photo from the coats which had me stuck for a while. Maybe that should fall out itself instead of requiring another action once the puzzle is already solved? No trouble with the puppet positioning one - that worked fine. (MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE RIGHT PUPPET PICTURE!)
Completed. Good game, though a little repetitive towards the end. TIP: to get maximum stats (20) once you are reasonable level, just go into magic room, drop three Level III items for a stat increase potion, go next door and fight one easy opponent, apply the potion, get some more level 3 loot, go back into magic room and repeat.
Nice game, played to completion and enjoyed it. But a few minor issues (which may be fixed in Steam version IDK): the Smithing is completely broken and random, even high value items often produce bronze; the game is complete long before you have all smith recipes; wasn't obvious you can recycle items in smith; no indication what rune element spells belong to; needs a quick indication showing who is ready for a skill or troops upgrade; Rally screen should show also stats so I can tell who is who; my Polymorph Genie made the Skyscraper epic boss battle pointless because I just turned him into a sheep in 10 seconds; game said it was complete when I finished the Endless Forest, but I hadn't done any of the Whirlpool of Destiny missions.
Well, I got to Wave 206 and completed all the research on my third game. So I don't think the balance is quite right yet. I only died because I started to lose interest. Fun concept though.
I really like this series. Great story, excellent score and tense atmosphere, especially in a dark room. The puzzles are all pretty logical without being too easy. (I've not needed a walkthrough on any episodes).
Interesting art style, but the navigation needs to be a lot clearer. Change the mouse cursor so it is an arrow if I'm going to move and a hand if I'm picking something up - I kept clicking navigation points thinking they were objects. Also the story/objectives were not clear. How would I know to put salt around the coffin?
Nice little game. Yes, it *can* be brute-forced very easily - but where is the fun in that? All the puzzles are quite easy to solve with a little bit of thought.
Thanks for playing! We're working on finding ways to make everything as intuitive as possible!
