@PredaO You mean "city of the dead"? Choose the starting position due south of the southernmost town. Carefully expand without losing anything to the zombies. Turn 1 - expand north. Turn 2 - connect the two towns. Turn 3 - connect the three towns and castle. Turn 4 - pikeman captures a tile next to the necromancer's lair. Turn 5 - upgrade your pikeman to a knight and take the lair for the win. It will likely require multiple attempts to get right.
@kshizzle After you've taken the gold mine area, place a knight to protect both your town and your access to the gold mine area. Then just save cash and wait for some AI players to die. And remember that many of the AI players cannot conquer each other. So sometimes you can take territory that cannot ever be taken back.
@Albimonte Start off by stalling and letting the AI fight each other. You can place a knight up/right of your town to protect your town from enemy knights whilst also protecting your access to the gold mine. That knight will keep you alive for a long time. Meanwhile you can clear out all the bandits and then start fighting back.
Ice has an insane late game. Super towers + self-healing bots. Green faction has great everything with the strongest early game. Red is just fast and fun, but not OP.
Tip: Setup stall towers first - Chargers/Boosters, gas/ice, drones/prawns, Mine/Stun. Once you have 10+ towers, start adding damage dealers - Blasters, Rockets, Fire or Bombs. Blasters are best, since the heroes have nothing that resists them.
So, upgraded blasters are OP. I just beat the final level with them plus a single ice trap. All the fancy armour and weapons that the heroes use, and not one of them resists blasters.
@szaryobywatel The swapped crusaders have vastly superior formation abilities than the base crusaders. The best DPS crusaders in the game are from events. But you're complaining that their levels don't add to idol gain? Of course they don't - that would be insanely overpowered.
30 epic timewarp cards and countless resets... all in the vague hope that I'd get epic gear on Billy. My hopes were clearly set too high because I got zero epic gear from 20+ gold chests this event.
@Ethanziz the time-limit missions require a lot of attention, but they're very doable. You just need to have enough idols to insta-kill to the end, and a few free hours to manually pickup enemy drops.
Any way at all to choose the epic gear (or recipe) we get would be nice. Even if it's an insanely hard mission or something. I'm sick of endlessly getting gear I don't want.
Thank you for the feedback.
