This is a very cute and simple, if somewhat too easy, puzzle game. The lack of text seems to add to the atmosphere and the music contributes wonderfully to the love theme (I love the little noise they make when they are reunited). Just one question: How does Blob keep getting strung up?
Could've done with more weapons for both sides, and, as other people have said, a save feature would've been nice. Definitely 4/5 and, if I could, 9/10. Loved the little Easter-egg style boob bounce.
So many people have complained about the whole 'rush' strategy, but Alexander the Great used that Strategy, and he conquered most of the then-known world. Now, it would be nice if there was a balance of strategy types or different options, but people should stop bashing the rush strategy. It works!
@baloonatic Psuedolonewolf uses two basic faces: one male and one female, to which he give different hair, eyes, etc. to distinguish the characters. Several comments have already been made that the characters look similar.
@Jwaxson Chances are, it's your fault. The second Moric is the easier to beat, I know because I've beaten this game numerous times on both versions ('07 and '10). I would suggest starting over, not skipping any battles, grabbing every chest, mastering every skill, and returning to areas you'd beaten previously (gem mines, where you beat the shaman, and where you beat Moric particularly). Use your map to navigate and get every chest from every room. What I said is RPG common sense, I suppose, but not many people seem to know.
Very fun game over all and highly addicting. The retro comic book art style is a nice touch, and the dialogue and backstory are both very good (though not the best I've ever seen). The only problem I've encountered is the steep curve on everything from packs to battle to skill prices. If they could put some intermediate packs in, and give a step-up battle in the second issue before you fight the bear (the bear is about twice as hard as the previous battle). An intermediate mode between normal and crisi would be nice, too, since there is such a disparity between the strengths of the opponents. Other than that great game, and I'm still going to play whether or not they implement these suggestions, but they would help.
I seem to have the issue that whenever I complete the tutorial level, I am reset to the main screen with the little "Are you sure you want to start a new game?" question overlapping the normal menu options. When I click "No I don't" It disappears, however I cannot then click "Continue Game" to start. If I click "Yes I do" then it starts me back over at the tutorial. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it, please pm me.
Also, a reload button would be nice, as would an ammo count, and the option to pick up health bottle you can't use yet would just be amazing. Other than that, the only thing that could improve this game is new boss-types.
Kinda fun, but also a little hard. Maybe nerf the zed's strength a little or elsewise slow them down, because when you're swarmed by them, you're screwed. You can't outrun them. Also a little time before the boss would be nice, as would a larger map. Otherwise, fun and very creative. A great game, especially for an 8-bit. 5/5.
I seem to be having trouble even getting the game to load correctly. Now albeit my computer isn't the best and I'm using a firefox browser with a tendency to screw up, I still can't even see the guy, let alone move him. I'd like to play this game because it sounds fun, but I can't. Does anyone happen to know why? If you do, please pm me or something because this sounds like a great game.
It's a generic computer MMO. It tries to make you pay real money for crap equipment and suck up as much of your time as possible. The character designs are limited and obviously meant to appeal to a teenage boy audience. The quests make little sense and the pace is too hurried. The game could be a little better overall if you had the option to "turn off" the other players so you couldn't see them or something. There are plenty of better things to waste my time on. 2/5 Only 'cause I save 1/5 for the REALLY crappy ones. This came close, though, for lack of originality.
I'm having a problem with every time someone clears the browsing history (and all that that entails) my save file is deleted. I've re-played all three games at least twice and it's happened again. Now I love these games, but this is getting excessive. Any tips on how to either retrieve my former save files or prevent this from happening again?
I absolutely LOVE this game and have been a devoted fan since the first episode. Due to my getting a new computer, I had to go back and re-play the first two games so I could my save file on the third. There is apparently some issue with this game and my computer, since adobe flash keeps crashing. Now, it's probably my computer's fault, but I just finished fighting Moric in the catacombs (for the third time in a row) with particularly favorable results, but then adobe crashed before I could get to a save. So I got the idea that maybe if you could include a save feature right after a boss battle, that would be nice, just as a general thing. Plus if you lot out there agree. Also, little pro-tip from the guy who's played each part of the game 11 times, it pays to be thorough and head back to an area after you beat a boss. Thanks for the great game Pseudo and I can't wait for the fourth!
@ Captaingray If you're having so much trouble in the sun temple, then there's something wrong with you, not the game. That is the easiest part in the game, and it's your own fault if you let yourself get beat up so easily. Try playing the first two games first, if you haven't, because you can get items that will help you. Like, for instance better armor and weapons.
"Fact: The T-Rex is a bipod dinosaur." Bipod? What's a bipod? Clearly the scientists who brought this T-Rex back to life have created a new type of walking or some such.
You actually have a pretty decent start for this. It needs more story and a dash more programming. Loved the concept. Game is a bit laggty due to programming skips.
Keep up the good work.
What a load of B.S. This is a poor rip-off of a good game, Ricochet Kills. The laws of physics are non-existant in this game. If I hit something at one angle, it is supposed to ricochet off at the same angle in the other direction. Also, If I shoot a barrel-fll of explosives beneath a soldier, that soldier will die, not just keep standing there. Also, a bullet will not just pass right through a target and then proceed onto the next one to kill. Take this game back to the drawing board and try again. Maybe with an original idea next time. 1/5 only 'cause I can't do a 0.
