uh.... is it just me or is the optimal strategy to get the chainsaw and then put every other point into stamina, and just run around moving people down?
Nothing at the moment, I've had various suggestions as to possible bonuses but I'm hoping to alleviate it somewhat just by adding a bunch of new talents to each class so its less likely to get complete double books. The loot generator already tries its hardest to give spawned books talents you don't have.
I finally beat last friggin level - it requires near pixel precision to take the first orc, bounce off the skull post back to the starting platform. I had figured that out fairly quickly, but I had a bear of a time actually pulling it off!
To address Gheata's concern - rather than a per-login spend of 25 crystals, a 24 hour boost for 25 crystals would accomplish the same thing, and possibly stack with the transcending 2x bonus...
And I got killed by a baby dragon because of the above error - I pressed a single key and it kept me going in that direction for like 6 steps instead of letting me target the dragon. And I had several health and life potions, so I would have survived IF I could have attacked... RIP, necro
Dear Igor83185, I'm sorry that you encountered such an issue. I can't reproduce it on Google's chrome. Which browser are you using ? Or could it be that the time during which a keypress should be held to do one step is too low ? I mean, if you try pressing the key just a little bit a shorter time, would that avoid the issue ?
Your feedback is very much appreciate, thank you!
Is it valid to complain that this game is too engrossing? I kept wanting "just one more," and the completionist in me was itching... until I noticed the Dev comment that later levels are procedurally generated, so I was able to chill out a bit... XD
Considering how much the later mining upgrades cost and how little benefit you get from them, it would scale better if the 5% from the upgrades was multiplicative rather than additive (eg.: 10 of them would yield 55% instead of 50%, 100 would be 12,424% instead of 500%, etc.).
that's a very weird difficulty curve. 10 is an order of magnitude more difficult than the previous levels. I had to restart a total of twice before level 10, and I'm stuck, unable to advance.
suggestion: maybe allies that aren't idiots firing at a blank space? if there's no enemy on screen, have them hold fire until there is. it's a minor tweak that will make everything feel just a little better...
You can beat the game like that?
