wait a minute... is there even a good ending??
Hilda was set free because i was wearing the cursed ring, but it STILL said that she had to remain behind... there isn't really any clue as to what you need to complete the game... kinda disappointed. Also, like others said, my map was missing a single bronze key. Fortunately, i noticed before it was too late, so i was still able to get everything except the one treasure behind that door. This has the potential to be an extremely enjoyable game. please fix it with a proper ending, a full set of keys, and maybe some weapons that actually DO something...
Honestly, though the fact that they have "pay" items bothers me, it DOESN'T, really.
I spent HOURS already before i even bothered looking down and seeing people complain. the game is clearly fun and deep. if you don't want to support the artists directly? fine. don't be a JERK about it.
Suggestion -
Why CAN'T a knight wear shoes? even if they are for a different class? Why restrict ANYONE in that regard at all?
While I understand restricting weapons (can't fire a lightning bolt from a bow, a staff is too brittle to hit with), so what if my knight wants to wear leather gloves. If he fits the stat requirements, why not?
maybe it's just my computer, but the control scheme coupled with the animation seems poor. even basic enemies attack faster than your character. Coupled with the inability to change direction during an attack, it makes the gameplay more cumbersome and repetitive. Also, the orbs flaming and interrupting/knocking you back into a pit mid jump? sorry. I love the style and the prior entries, but poor mechanics are keeping me from enjoying this game.
I rarely ever comment on a game directly, but I seriously hope that this gets read and taken to heart. I appreciate our art as a medium of experience and story telling, and it hurts to be disappointed by an entry in what is a beautifully well established series.
Screwed up controls - the game continually locks up with my character being forced in a single direction, wasting turns and forcing me way past where i wanted to go.
a LITTLE time killer? I've spent over an hour alone TODAY on this perfect addiction. BRILLIANT. Turning down the sound helps keep me thinking calmly when playing...
Kind of running into a problem in the dungeons when presence of mind goes off but Pyroblast doesn't fire because he's "too low" on HP, so I get killed instead.
Abra, could you mod it so that will always cast pyroblast on a boss?
