Game breaking combo: Leaf Bow and Frozen Stone - With a high enough dex and splash damage, you basically clear a level while taking no damage, since you get healed by both your arrows and by the ice shards. Lots of fun, but total OP.
I'm pretty sure having 30 times the opposing troops should be a win condition. It's a little ridiculous that the game is rigged so you can't wipe out the enemy - It refuses to let you knock them below 2-3k once you get to higher levels, no matter how powerful you are. It just pumps up their deployment rate to compensate - a little annoying. Maybe having a guage that alerts you to when the enemy is about to become more powerful would be helpful.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to try and add a ' new game mode or 2' every week that will be winnable (is that even a word?) I might even do one with 30 times the opposing troops as an objective. To be honest the invaders are constantly becoming more powerful so a gauge wouldn't work
another error - If you bring down your recruit time below 10 seconds by buying war camps, you can't buy all the recruitment party upgrades. They should be tracked separately, so you can get the maximum of both.
Not sure I understand but I'm really tired, just uploading latest version that I finished in 3 days instead of 6 so sorry If i'm a little confused - you can still take recruitment to 5 seconds which is the maximum right?
Major problem: Even if you have very high levels of crafting, it will NEVER let you have shields better than the opposing swords. This NEEDS to be fixed. There's no reason I have a crafting of 50-50 (100% proficiency) and am only crafting level 30 shields because the enemy has level 34 swords.
Selling items (paint) out of my inventory caused my overall weight to go up. Also, no way to sell individual items off of a stack (I needed 2 paints, and it sold all 4).
This game is too buggy in this current state. I can't carry any more items to sell without getting rid of crafting items I intend to use. Sorry, but it's a no go for me. Too bad, it looks very interesting. Maybe if they changed the weights and fixed the upgrade system...
Cute game, but as people noted, the mana system is broken. When you get up to higher levels and try to pump your production up, you get less and less mana.
Terrible AI on the part of the "helpers" - protecting the b17 bombers is darn near impossible since you can't slow down to tail them and the other planes on your side ignore their duty.
I like the evolution tab, it's a cute addition. Interesting glitch - if you have one of your cells highlighted and are dragging to attack when you lose control of the cell, it sends the enemy force occupying it to wherever you're attacking. Heh.
Been playing endless mode for over 2 hours now... basically invincible with using all 3 basic spells + fire wall and ice spike + all 3 reduced cooldowns.
Fun times. Just grinded up to 50 but there isn't much else to do...
I'm not sure why, but I'm getting terrible lag, even after turning off all of the effects. It makes timed jumps very difficult (though I did beat the game, but couldn't get all the stars in the rising lava level). The other issue is that AFTER beating the game, I attempted to get the stars I missed, but when the level started, the screen faded to black and kicked me back to the map, which faded to black. I can't seem to play this game anymore :(
For a bullet hell, tight controls are a must, and this game just can't deliver. There's no reason why a game this simplistic (though a brilliant design) should cause so much control lagging.
Another thing - I've had certain "tenants" in the same room for days on end - the caveman and his cow never leave (though I don't mind having 'ionman' around). And when the cow get's lost in the hotel, sending a bellboy to pick it up results in the cow just standing there, leeching all the stamina of my staff. Though it does autokill any rats that run near it... I sure as heck better get a big bonus when they check out of the hotel.
