My laptop is still great, but man does it heat up when I play. I mean the game is in Unity, but surely there are room for optimizations. I'm no programmer, but can't you cap the frame rate at like 30 or have less refresh/re-draw rate for the game?
The "non random" exchange for gild heroes is there to prevent people (like you moehawk) who exports their game files before trading them in "in case they don't like what they get"
Easy way for hard badge (or to beat the game) is to have 20 words that use a lot of some letters and cycle through your list of 20 words. In my case, I used 7 E's, 3 O's, 3 N's, 7 R's, and 6 T's in my boiler, and used words such as rottenstone, northerner, tormentor, etc to easily zip through the levels.
The top poster's tips are nice, but don't follow it EXACTLY. All you have to do is have a good amount of starting gold (1k+), do 4th and 3rd loot at the beginning, and farm/survive until second boss. Second boss in my opinion is the trickiest enemy in the whole game because of the lack of upgrades and require some good dodge skill. The rest is just easy, get 4th flag first, then 3rd, then 4th fire rate/4th weapon, then carefully farm in endless mode.
Holy Moly... So I was bored out of my mind just keep clicking continue to wait for my town to grow to 2500. Then one day, when a gold boom came, I just got angry and bought 15 nukes and nuked the place... When I first started playing, I thought traps are useless. Now after a few hours of gameplay, I realized that a good gem to put in the traps are either the orange (steal mp) or the green (POISON). Having a grade 3 poison trap at the start or the fork of a level really weakens the foes for your other towers to finish off.
Lol, having the blue dudes are so easy to win. Max speed, attack, and defense. At the start of almost any stage, go directly for the opponents buildings and win.
Finally got the impossible badge... A word of note on the strategy: do not get high resistance (lvl 3 and above) for your disease until all the countries have been infected! Otherwise, your disease will infect too many people and force closures.
There should be an option to change to: change your workers' room location (especially the servicing ones), place elevator at the middle and not middle left
