"Controllers are supported", but apparently you can't move with the directional pad. I'm using a SNES repro, not a PS DualShock imitator so I can jump in place and attack with the controller but can't move or change direction that way.
Are levels 11, 12, 14, and 15 even possible to get Brilliant ratings on without the damage/ROF boosts from being completely maxed out in your skill trees?
Sometimes it feels like almost one in three times I visit the page, it fails to find my save and tries to dupe me into starting over again. I hit refresh on the page during the intro scene and it usually fixes itself, but I've had TWO needless full restarts.
I don't like how in the ??? shop and recipe shop, it's not clearly labeled what's a useful mechanical upgrade and what's just aesthetics. In the previous Burrito Bison game, "Rainbow Gummies" were roughly the equivalent of this game's Honey Potter: Hit it and get a big automatic speed boost, travel, and lots of squashed gummies. Here though, "Rainbow Gummies" means "make all the normal gummies flash in rainbow colors constantly", meanwhile there are two types of special gummies bought IN THE SAME MENU, USING THE SAME CURRENCY.
I had a glitch happen: I beat the bear with the frying pan on a run where I had the explosive pepper powerup, having enough momentum that the pepper wasn't needed. Not only did it not carry over to my next launch, my number of peppers was set to -1 and the next time I got one from a piñata, my counter just went to 0.
I was tricked into using in-game currency to get a real-world recipe for salsa instead of something that actually benefits me in-game, which the same in-game currency (one of like five different kinds?) can also do.
What's the point of Bison and Spank when El Pollo is so much better at getting and keeping air time? Hahaha, I love all their designs but El Pollo is clearly the best of the three mechanically.
Now that we've got the Champion and gear for him, we need a better way to sell off large chunks of things. The hitbox for the sell item field is too small and dragging takes too long, if I idle for even an hour I pick up like a hundred pieces of equipment, 90% of which are going to be green common pieces. I need a single key shortcut to sell a highlighted piece of junk.
That last puzzle is mostly trial and error, even with all three hints. It's not visually clear whether a tap is "open" or "closed" nor whether it's "upside down" based on any given direction it might have.
It'd be nice to have auto-sacrifice on the cages as an option as well as auto-release - sometimes you want to get more blood/brains/bones rather than to start the next level with a bigger rush of zombies on the start of the next level.
Missions 2, 7, 12, 17, and 22 feel pretty pointless. 2 is the only one where I wasn't at least 5 levels higher than it requested when I unlocked it. That said, this is now one of my favorite games.
I understand your friend side, but there are people with much less experience in this type of game, so I could not make it very difficult. But surely I will make another game in this style, but much better, because I have many super constructive comments that will help me a lot in this walk. Thanks for playing and favoriting the game.
