It appears to load but then sticks at the loading screen sans Kong ad. Just the title and the background art. Is anyone else having this problem and any known solutions? I am playing on Chrome and have the latest version of Flash if that helps.
Pure awesome! A few suggestions though: 1. Add a timer so you can have an idea of what your score will be as you are moving through a level. 2. Add a reset button. I understand the challenge is diminished by figuring out the puzzle and then immediately being able to reset the level and blow through it but it's not much different than running through the levels a second time. Then maybe at the end you can get a bonus for not using any resets. 3. More levels please! I know these things have to take some time to come up with but I must have more. It is so good!
Better Engrish than most but still looks like somebody was using Google translate a good bit. If there wasn't a bunch of bad grammar as well I would have thought it was an actual English speaker goofing around with a thesauris.
I have loved all of Rudy Sudarto's games so far but I gotta say I am not digging the cutesy art style on this one. Gameplay 5/5. Art style 1/5. So 3/5 for this one.
As a Rasta myself I find this game somewhat offensive and disturbingly facist. First of all this Gran does not appear to hold any of the values of the Rastafari faith. She stomps on the heads of "undesirables" to either get them to conform or kill them outright. Then she gathers up all the herb and rolling papers and hands them in to the police. This is decidedly anti-rasta.
That said, it is an amusing little game, albeit a bit unchallenging.
This is not even a game. It is a hunt and click for invisible buttons. It is a shame that this non-game prevented me from learning the story. 1/5 for being frustrating and pointless.
This game is extremely grindy. The occasional elemental based enemy being able to 2-shot you is not fun or interesting. And aside from that it takes a ton of grinding to be able to hold your own in new areas. The game could be quite fun if it were'nt for the poorly designed progression scheme. Also as others have commented, what is with all the empty chests? It gets rather silly when 60% of all chests contain nothing and another 30% contain only vendor trash.
The fire breather weapon really sucks. You can't move while shooting it and it takes up both weapon slots. Please buff this pathetic excuse for a weapon.
If you play past the first 5 levels or so you are in for a real treat. This game has huge amounts of strategy to it. The two things I would say that need work are the units should have a little more detailed descriptions and it would be nice to have the ability to redo levels you have already completed so you can grind for points if you happen to get stuck on a level.
Everyone is commenting on the bad controls and yes they are not as good as they could be. I would prefer to use the mouse but you could make arrow keys work with some tuning. The game has lots of potential though. Perhaps add a radar screen. Also the game should pause when you open the store and it would be nice to have a decent UI for that function.
Please take about 50% of the black blocks out of the game. It is a nice challenging mechanic, or at least it could be. Right now it is just really really annoying.
This is a great example of superb game design. The controls are well done. The levels are interesting despite the rather plain walls. The character has... character! And switching things up with the fixed camera was genius. This is easily one of the best browser games I have ever played. If I could ask for anything more it would be a bit more story, some different environments, and more levels cause I can't get enough.
