Here's a simple tip to get started in recon, before you get started in recon, it's a good idea to just pick your rangers that have no rank in your team. The game can be pretty brutal for beginners and you don't want to risk your experienced rangers. After you start to learn the game better, consider using your higher ranked rangers, making your highest rank ranger have as many points on spotting will help give you an edge, spotting threats before they become a problem, your second best ranger you want to give max comms, so that you don't have to hassle with radio to get the calls you want. (like the ever so important extraction call)

For those are having a hard time understanding this game, here's some things to get you started: This is probably the most important, if you have over 6 soldiers/vehicles on the field at one time, the Germans will start shelling you with very deadly artillery and bombs, however, you can hire an engineer to let you build a "camo net" to get around this. Every soldier/vehicles under camo does not count towards being being bombed. Your soldiers fire automatically at the closest enemy. Take advantage of this by putting your best soldiers behind weaker ones. As they get kills, they shoot faster and get more accurate. Trees, rocks and palisades block line of sight, and soldiers cannot fire at what they can't see. Sandbags and trenches provide bullet protection, bunkers provide bullet protection and explosion immunity but make your soldiers fire slower.

I feel like it would be really helpful if there was a mission which gives you materials on completion... I ended up wasting all of my materials on towers before making mines and it makes it A LOT harder to gather materials then it should be.

I was hoping to get some extra dialogs from the wafers and cyanide, but alas, nada. :/ Perhaps even a bad ending if you just give the priest the wafers without the cyanide or mix the meat with the cyanide to kill the fat guy.

To unlock the shooting range you need to have 1000 xp and 3 friends... Lolwut...? I can see giving bonus xp to individuals who encourage their friends to play the game, but when you need to have a specific amount of friends to UNLOCK content in the game, that is going too far! Sure, I might sound like a loner but I never accept this under any circumstances. You can tell me "suck it up, it's only three friends" and yes, that may be the case, but once you give into these types of demands its just of a matter of time until push it to the limits. First it will be you need 3 friends to unlock a gun, then you'll need a 100. Soon or later you'll have to do the entire marketing campaign for the game to unlock anything! I'm full aware that someone will probably down-vote this comment but that will just further prove my point that there are corporate scumbags out there that what nothing more than to cut a hole in your pockets and let all your money to leak out until there is nothing left!

Although the game is fun early on, it gets old quick because there is very little variety to the game. The fact that your sword dashes seem to make you go a random distance seems to detract from the game as well making the best strategy to be running in circles and killing those who stray behind the pack. Regardless, if this game was expanded on, I could see some great potential.

My cleric's faith apparently disallows my cleric to work with a pitchfork for the risk that I may spill the innocent blood of the hay bales... I am disappoint :( Probally one of the most negative aspects of a cleric I have found so far... Why not just make the weapon do no weapon bonus for clerics? (or any bladed weapon)

The level design did not feel very creative. It felt like it could do much more as a puzzler but I felt like it boiled down to just timing your jumps. Also it irritated me quite a bit when I wanted to just fall down a platform, but instead I would just flip over and land on the opposite color and dying.

I forgot to mention this, but the first time I completed the one ring quest, I got the ring from using a library card in the castle's library. Is this rare? If so, quite an odd way to find one :P

@Kiritsukeru good suggestion about the visual range, I feel like some of the difficulties with Stwalt is its lack of user interface features. A better addition in my opinion would be an added fog-of-war, that way you can better view what areas you have explored but also display the visual range at the same time.

Does this game only work with touch screens...? I feel like I just get stuck in the game and am unable to do anything, for instance the game says "tap to continue" ...tap? tap what!? I don't have a touch pad. Even worse, there doesn't seem to be anywhere that show's the controls.

Just a question, are the ship's weapons orientation specific? (IE: you can only fire particular guns if they are facing the enemy) or can they fire from any direction?

I didn't learn this until later in the game, but upgrading your ship's engines are quite valuable as you can rotate out your ships shields with proper positioning. This saves you TONS of neoalloy as you will have to repair armor less often. (I personally spent all of my neoalloy on sheilds to make this even more effective)

This is a very intresting game, but my main disapointment of this game is the lack of control of pretty much of anything in the game except movement (which in most cases you have to individually order as group movement is terrible) This in my mind, defeats most of the strategy in the game as all you basically have to do group your ships together and steamroll your enemy with superior firepower. The only thing you really have to worry about is to rotate your ships which are starting to get damaged and flee your weaker ships when they start to get damaged.
