Polished. No reason to replay, though... unless there's a deeper layer of strategy that I'm not aware of, you basically experience the whole thing after playing once.
Short, clever, but almost too repetitive. You have something really clever here, but need something else to create more variety. Perhaps the ability to grab things from words above you as well as below? (For a puzzle when you're blocked on both sides, perhaps?)
I'm surprised there wasn't the quote "To be or not to be..." early on. That would have been a great one to introduce the system while you only had 3 letter words.
I like the game! But I've encountered a bug. If a hex has three of the four spots filled with the same color, and then the 4th spot gets randomly filled by that color, the hex doesn't disappear, meaning that I have to move a spot out and then back in again to get the hex. In later parts of the game, this is especially undesirable.
OK, I gotta admit that this is a really clever game. My main criticism is that I was confused for a few minutes when I wasn't able to place a block in a spot that was clearly available by Tetris rules. Perhaps if each zone had a slightly shaded area that showed where you were allowed to place a block?
Only other thought is to have a small multiplier bonus for clearing one side, and a larger one for clearing all 4 simultaneously. I'm only able to reach about a 1.5 multiplier, even though 4 is apparently possible.
When you place a block in a wrong position, the cells of the block are marked: green '+' means that you can place a cell there, red 'x' means that you cannot. If the block is fully outside incomplete lines and you try to place it, green bars will show where you can place and where you can't.
Thanks for your comment and suggestions, by the way :)
So, you go through all of the trouble of coding a text adventure game capable of understanding simple human input... and then decide that the best use of your skill and ability is to depress people?
I am so very sorry for you. 2/5.
One of the best Flash games I've ever played, and the most effective one for making moral choices (whether that was its intention or not). That was amazing.
Thanks for the feedback! A coming update will be addressing replayability. :)
