Too many WebGL crashes for me to consider this interesting long term. Even with the graphics completely disabled it crashes by wave 1500 or so on Easy, and on like 300 something on Hard. Neat concept though.
Fantastic idle app - minimal UI, and yet everything that needs to be known is prominently displayed. The various options to enhance the display even further, such as the scroll locking and ability to easily change number or time format, make it all the more appealing.
As others have commented as well this is additionally great due to using significantly less system resources compared to some other idle apps on Kong. The 5/5 I give this does not do it justice for me, and makes me re-think the 5/5 I have given some other things on this site.
I don't mind the game being in the same spirit, but this uses literally the same building price formula as Cookie Clicker. Price = Base Cost x 1.15^N (N = Number of Buildings) I can see wanting to make your own version, but taking literally the same formula seems a little ... direct.
Ghost units automatically lower my rating of this game by 2. They almost completely invalidate the benefits from leveling up aura, so for someone who has spent the majority of their level ups on aura upgrades it's a real kick in the teeth. Those who upgraded food/mana more are fine since they can either generate more troops to deal with the ghosts, or cast more spells to deal with them. If you went for aura? Time to replay levels until you can get over your aura handicap. Not cool.
Very interesting game play. I love the concept and how it all fits together, but without a specific goal beyond just "earn points," it falls a little short. Adding in a mode with specific objectives would be pretty interesting. All in all an easy 4. Could be a 5 after some of the proposed additions in the description.
Repeatedly getting the initial green blobs when you're in the middle of trying to merge USBs is disappointing to the extreme. Haven't been able to make it past here. 3.5/5 due to, what feels like, luck based nature of this.
Easy 5. Kind of annoying how the most difficult enemy in the game are those damned zombies that run up and throw their head, though. So annoying to kill, and turret is so useless later on vs. anything but stage 1 zombie. I'd usually have to prioritize killing head throwers over killing anything else, even freaking golems.
Why is it so hard for games to add volume sliders? I want to hear your game, I just don't want to have to lower volume to my entire browser so that my ear drums aren't blown out.
