REALLY good & challenging puzzle, needs some improvement:What I would improve:(1)Don't have hints enabled by default if you award a star for not using them.(2)Check the ans when player is done, rather than penalize for an errors which could be accidental.(3)Notation is v useful, but doesn't make sense to have it in a separate mode. I would prefer to already have the notation as part of the main game, then when you have eliminated all the possibilities & leave one "note" tile in each square, allow player to hit "finish" to check the ans+don't allow player to finish unless there is 1 tile in every square. It feels clumsy to switch back & forth betw main & notation modes - the player finds v quickly that there is no point in main mode, cos you can easily get penalized for making a "mistake".(4) It feels tedious to keep dragging the eraser icon to delete notes. Maybe allow hotkeys to toggle on/off. ____What I liked(1) Good tutorial(2)Nice music & effects+can be adjusted.
playing for the badge... but the worst part of this game were the snake levels - very unresponsive with a delay of the snake's movement when you clicked. otherwise, pretty standard bonte game!
problem solved. i have several browser windows open. On a whim, I opened Kong in the original window I was playing in before, and hey presto, autosave loaded. Phew!
thank you dev, really enjoying this game! but had a problem - anyone can help? I completed up till mission 10 (as recorded by the achievements tab), then when i reopened the game, it rolled me back to mission 4. i mean I can always play it again but still wonder why it happened.
great and simple game with a nice message. the safety clouds were a relief! but I still felt it was a bit slow... and if I didn't watch where the star went, I might not know which way to go. Perhaps some way of indicating?
5/5. Controls were smooth, music was great (repeatable and not intrusive), very nice images for a low res, loved the disappearing maze path. For a short game, it's got enough 'story' going on, but would love to see more, as well as stuff that you can think about a bit more. e.g. I didn't really know what i was collecting all the items for, and in the end it was a bit disappointing that I couldn't really use them. So like someone else said, it needs a goal. But all in all a great little game.
love these games... great atmosphere, music and art. once you get used to the puzzle style, it isn't so hard. it's also a real fun story! happy that it has gotten the badge it deserves!
was really enjoying it until i got to the level that is accessed from the bottom right tunnel in "don't let the bed bugs bite". i accidentally left that level while gravity was reversed, and now I can't go back :( I'm stuck upside down in that tunnel in "don't let the bed bugs bite", can't go anywhere.
I'm really enjoying this game, but often it really bothers me that the zones for error are so small. Then it's less about strategy and timing, and more about catching the pixels, which isn't fun.
