Loaded the game from a save file from the trial version on kupogames.com back in november 2019, going to restart a game and hope it doesn't persist...
First 5 levels were fun, the rest is just a slog. Other than the bosses, it boils down to survive till the third P power up, after that you're invincible. For the bosses... they are so weak that even without replaying any level even once I killed them before I even figured out how to dodge. You can just facetank most of the shots and still win without taking much damage, as long as you don't run into the body of the bosses themselves.
I will increase the damage done by them. But I cannot increase much, otherwise it is impossible to defeat them to complete the conquests. Thanks for playing.
Survivor's a little...underwhelming. There should be more enemies, so that living until you mine out the field is a actual challenge. Or conversely, have more astroids so you don't mine out before you die...same thing really.
Insane needs to be balanced for each individual level. Level 4 insane is harder than lvl 9 insane because there's literally nothing you can do other than turtle on one planet, which means the game comes down to a simple statcheck that is an auto loss.
Mechanics are too hard to really take advantage of without serious planning... and so in compensation the campaign enemies are so bad that even without taking into account of the rotation field you can just roflstomp them with pure stats alone.
Not sure about multiplayer, but the campaign's a joke.
Core game's VERY good tho.
@marian2001, play it like a roguelike game, and with a bit of luck you can go from a blank save to lvl 80 finish in one go. My three playthrough over the years went 2 wings, 0 wings, 3 wings.
Easy mode's WAY too easy. First playthrough, have no idea what I'm doing, by the time I figured it out at day 17 I already have 21k/s crystal income, and the defense I built back on day 9 or so still oneshots all the zombies.
AND HIGHER DIFFICULTY IS LOCKED BEHIND A PAY/GRIND WALL.
