Also, for 29, I shouldn't be able to walk across the open space and die by walking into the spike square when I should have dropped down... stopped playing on 30... while the idea is solid, it did get boring to me after a while, especially knowing I wasn't even halfway done.
Please keep the hanging by his head as automatic. Level 25 was far harder than it had to be simply because of timing the letting go of up (before energy, twas automatic that he stayed there).
*calls up insurance company* "I know I'm responsible for a countless amount of crashes... but just look at how much money I made picking up cash lying around on the road for no reason!"
Twas a nice change of pace from Tyrant. I do very much wish I could see the growths without having to mouse over it. For example, just place a (+1) by the total amount (if the growth factor is 1). Would be VERY handy :). Still 5/5.
My #1 complaint is that it shouldn't take me 3-4 times through the game to figure out how to play each microgame. Also, the constant switching and the fact each level starts right as it transfers makes the game extra frustrating. It does take about 0.5 seconds for a brain to figure out which microgame we've switched to (just an estimate) and by then, you'll normally be dead. Ironically, I got the "easy" badge by dying in every level except for the bouncing 3 circles...
Not half bad :). Although I wish I had known (or just paid closer attention) that I wanted the 7k in my own funds... thought it was paid amount in taxes :P.
Well, tis a rather short game albeit decent. Totally agreed to miromi. If you plan on making a dual mouse/keyboard game you NEED wasd controls. Object collision was okay, albeit very finicky. I just learned I really had to clear the zombies to not die (I'd suggest making the zombies bigger to match the collision radius). Also, the ending scene makes no sense to me.
Not to double-comment but the crash rate also needs to be decreased slightly... I've done rather gentle landings that resulted in crashes (it's in the frustrating domain, not simply difficult).
I like simple concepts that are executed well. This game fits that model with one exception: as angel pointed out, keys stick, especially if you were holding them down to move faster. Even going one too far can really screw up the game for you. Fix that and you have a great game.
Overall a simple yet good game. Some suggestions: level 3: your zone of effect for the for the first downward motion is too big, kept grabbing when I was still in the black zone, level 5: began to notice the gray edges: they are hard to see against the black background but still kill you, please change the color to something more noticeable or just remove the edges, level 7: more of an lol, I just went fast and low and won, level 8: just annoying, level 10: my square moved slightly on its own (even when not in forcefield), level 11: annoying thing was that the enemy square are slightly larger than the grid, so when I thought I was safe I wasn't, level 14: same complaint as 11, level 15: I understand this level is supposed to be hard, but that section to go up is just too skinny, especially with the square bouncing around on top... tis where my adventure must end.
Decent game. He seems to have acceleration/deceleration when letting up/pressing down a key... took some time to get used to. Also, making the arrow-shooting blocks look more different would help (hard to tell them apart from normal blocks). Music is good, but I am pretty sure I have heard it before. As a final note, the constant sizzling sound as I am writing this (after dying in lava) is annoying; I'd suggest only sizzling when you die than having it loop.
Same issue as Seven. Also, agreed that this is a puzzle not an RPG. Overall, I think you have a decent beginnings to a game, but it needs some work with collision and health (and clean up first level) first. Good luck.
Agreed with El, impossible to get past the enemies. Also, the controls lacked finesse... I kept running into walls when I thought I had turned properly.
Umm... decent idea, but I even prefer the Math game in Anti-Idle over this (and I don't like that one). Try giving more instructions before the questions begin... I lost the first greater/less than question figuring out how to do it. Also, scoring system and comparisons leave a lot to be desired.
Glad you could figure out the scrolling ElMaldito... I have no clue what you are talking about... it's just the 3 over and over. Also, impossible to die... I just move the enemies.
Really a nice thing. I will sure add it in next update. Thanks. 5/5 to your advise.
