Cons:
Tutorial suck, I discovered I could buy more of the same weapon only by the end of the game, and I never used the special weapons beacause by the time I got the rocket launcher I had pretty much forgotten about the intro screen about RMB for special weapons...
Weapon number is really limited, and your mech chassis is always the same, only changing colour to be stronger (must be a hell of a paint, seriously)
The arena is always the same and is really small
there are no boss enemies and no drop in battle, only a fixed currency gained at the end of every battle
Replayability value is really low
Weapons don't behave has they would be expected (shotguns have close to no dispersion/ rockets fly straight ahead into a point/ lasers behave like the 90's games, it's light so it should be instantaneous)
Anyway, I would love to see a sequel of this game with more rpg elements and a better feeling of progession, in a real map/ world not an arena (there should be one in game of course)...
was fun to play this game, yet I think the devs should play mech commander 2 before trying to make a mech game, even though they succeeded to some extent. 5/5
Things I like:
It's possible to upgrade everything before the last stage
weapons are cool and its nice they can all fire at the same time
the start of the game seems really promising (doesn't deliver half)
Even using unity and having tons of units the game never slows down!!!
I can start over after finishing the game with all the stuff I had
Both battle mech and battle dawn are really crappy games and from what I've seen from the community pages the developers have a lot to learn about making games and keeping gamers happy...1/5 because there is no lower score...
great game, the gameplay feels nicer than epic war! The concept of chosing class/race/equipment is really something and works simply well! I would love to play a game with there features but with good graphics and some seriousness in the plot!! Can you make something like that? pretty please with sugar on top :D
grindmode makes no sense after you get all the upgrades...it should be unlocked after having 1 red badge, and then we could use it to farm the money for the remaining upgrades...anyway, great game :)
Fantastic game and a really well implemented concept!! Still I think it would be even better if we could make teams and then assign them to missions. The second class change could have another branch. Example: knight/rogue/acolyte/initiate > Paladin-Gladiator/assassin- arquebeur/ wizard - sage/ cleric - shaman. Would be really cool if there was a world map and the diferent missions were marked as spot in it. This game deserves a 10/5 and I'm gonna wait eagerly for a third instalsment :D
Awesome game, with a bit more stuff, like more levels or all of them put together like metroid, and some more items/ guns and other toys would make this an epic game! Still 5/5 and gonna wait on the sequel :)
nice game and concept, still the gameplay is kinda awkward, polish those controls and make them more user friendly and you got yourself a great game ;)
