The problem is that the game cycles aren't optimized for level replay. Ideally, you should have a small frame at the start where someone who knows how to solve the level can quickly start playing. Waiting a few seconds every reset gets annoying fast.
This game is easy to cheese. Go backwards a few times and you will end up in a constant accelerating loop. Alt+tab and do something else while the speed racks up.
The medium badge at very easy isn't that bad. Start with the Mongol build to have fast access to knights. The first few fights can be won with one or two knights. Spam peasants and halls. Resources are everything in this game.
I'm not a huge fan of this game. I like remembering country names and locations, this game is very euro-centric. Do Germany, France, England or Spain really need a half dozen cities each?
But wow is this a boring game. The suspense is good in the start, but then the slowness of it all just keeps on going and going. Only three enemy types? Boring
DON'T DO LOADOUTS. If you want to tweak your setup, I suggest just swapping out the upgrades you want. Saves you so many souls and your layout changes will be more fine-tuned.
Does this game deserve your time? Nah. It's pretty clear that it's just a cash cow, even offering the player to auto build their deck and auto play battles. Whoever has the best card usually wins, a la Pay to Win (P2W).
But, it's an easy medium and hard badge. Took me an afternoon to get all three, no big deal.
