The longer I play the fewer stars I award: 2. Aw, "that hurts", I've "wasted" enough time, no more replays. I'm not going to memorize every level in order to finish it, the game just doesn't have that kind of potential.
It's OK, I was plagued with "sticky keys" bullshit which kind of killed my interest. Other than that it's just kind of monotonous with the typical 'increased difficulty' format. I got sick of "that hurts" and running out of gas tho, especially on random quests. 3 stars for keeping my interest for over an hour.
Update: Ok, if you put a tower up close and wait before hitting (next wave) start and let the tower soften up the still hidden invaders, you can probably finish with one maxed out tower.
I really hate the HELL out of a game that makes me reload tab in order to reset/retry. I see this game essentially has been dead since '12. Probably handicapped it into ruin like so many others. Used to by fun but not any more. BTW, you can no longer play this game using only one tower at the entrance. I tried it, and bosses were sent that I could stop all but one with 5 and 6 towers that were all maxed out and one still got thru. So I only had a couple choices then: reload tab- which sucks or leave 1 or 2 stars and go away.
BTW, when I used space bar for firing it sacrificed quite a bit of flight control, sometimes preventing me from turning at all. Then there is a noticeable lag in between alternating from mouse to sp/br. But once I took note of the dates of all previous comments, it becomes apparent that this game's been dead for a few years, and I'm sure it's been tweaked more than once since say, 2012 or so.
No thanx. Too obnoxious. Too many little thingies trying to ram into you then shooting in your direction while magically slipping between your bullets. No reset, just click to continue, which after sorting thru so many similar games based upon swamping the playing until failure, just sounds rather a bit too sucky. 2 stars. Time to go watch Netflix.
Restart? From the beginning? Every time? And you failed to add a reset or menu option in this type of format? Bite me! Oh yeah, your controls are hyper-finicky. There is no wash, no rise, dive, drift, lag, lift, stall, no control. I don't really feel the need to practice NOT going in little circles all the time. All your gained attributes disappear at every new mission. So what's the point? Just play until your program enacts the computer to swamp player, withhold fuel, fail, start again from scratch? No thanx.
"Use the mouse to place your fleet to protect earth"...until a bunch of little dildos effortlessly fly through all of you defenses and make your little heart go from 20 to 10, then 10 to zero. Next: planetary extinction. How fun is that? If I study real hard and with a little bit (alot) of time and effort I can probably decipher a good system utilizing specialized units to compensate for specific adversaries, and ...aw 4get it. 2 stars, I'm outa here.
No reset or menu controls, all you have is pause. Once you pick something up you're stuck with it. Cannot remove a unit or vacate a position. And as with all generically designed games- no matter how you play just hang in there long enuf for the same 'ol spawns to enter stacked up and impervious to any defenses that you've placed... shortly before the end of your play.
Did someone write "realistic"? Are you serious? How about never being able to step back or pause to reload? Sometimes the control buttons work sometimes they don't, kind of like "pause pending", what a joke, just have to let my stick dude die to reset, oh well. What's with the terrible time slop between your point of view circle and your point of aim cross? I'm sorry, I hate stick characters. Not good for getting into a role-play. BTW, I turned the quality dwn to 1 and the controls do work most of the time. Upgrade from 1 to 2.
YOUR mission failed simonhason. You failed to interest me in your game 1/2 way through the training mission (aprox. 1 min). The game is stuck in slow motion and the graphics are fairly generic.
As far as I can tell none of the features of this game work. I tried everything just to open the first door, fail. Just like all generic games there is no reset. Generally, if you need a walk through video then your program is probably set up waaay too A-typically/abnormally. And it's pretty bad when even the w/thru doesn't indicate how to open door number 1, neither do the instructions on the side. By all indications and comments you missed the mark. Keep trying.
Yes, this is not "Press X to win". Some levels can be challenging and that's the fun. Thank you for your comment.
