I was enjoying myself immensely until I ran out of fuel and I either had to play in short spurts of distance and whittle myself money to purchase more or pay for more 'virtual' gas. Thanks, but if I'm going to pay for any gas it's going to be the real kind that goes in a real car. The 'if you want to pay to drive' formula ruined it for me. Sorry. It was a fun game otherwise.
Nice time waster. But extremely laggy later on (as many have already said). Is there an end to the survival mode? I made it to the end where the distance meter below showed as a bulb and the game stopped, but explosions continued all around me. There wasn't a 'the end' or 'click here to continue' option. If it wasn't meant to end, then there is a bug preventing it continuing.
The game is entertaining. Mindless driving and zombie slaughter is always a nice way to pass an hour or so. But the amount of money you receive in the game (even with the bonus the cars give you) result in a seriously long long grind that can grow rather weary quickly, especially when you are repeating it ad nauseum. I agree with the others with the barrier/obstacles hit boxes. You barely edge near them and BAM you've slowed down and lost your combo's. And in a weird turn of events the jumpers just seem to make it even harder to knock them off with their small hit box, and instead you hit the obstacle instead. The level achievement of hitting barrels during Beast mode is excruciating since the barrels suddenly disappear except for a few dotting the landscape, but as soon as you exit beast mode they are suddenly everywhere.
A black screen with numbers in the upper left hand corner and oval choices in the lower right hand corner and with no instructions as too what is going on does not a game make.
Had to give up at 18 as well. The timing thing was just too exacting that I just didn't have the patients at this time to even attempt after about 5 tries. But an interesting game nonetheless.
I can honestly say I haven't played a Molkman game that I haven't enjoy immensely. Great fun and hilarious. And this couldn't come at a better time with me watching all these period pieces lately (e.g., Borgias, Reign, Dutchess).
Completed the game. Shielded the enter front row then loaded nine fully upgraded missiles, three fully upgraded fuel tanks, twelve 'devil ray' lasers, and then filled the entire back row with guidance units. Sit back and watch the quick kill.
Any chance to add some form of experience for leveling? It would add an increased level of difficulty for those of who've played this for a while and maxed out their skills.
No elsien, you're not the only one who thinks that. The directional key with the jump key seems to cause the jump not occur or occur at the wrong time. I can't count how many times trying to jump up the wall just trying to reach an outcropping above and missing it because the second jump does not respond. It certainly makes it very difficult and extremely frustrating to say the least. Almost not worth trying to complete it with these wonky controls.
By the gods how I love the Creeper games! Just when I start get frustrated with numerous approaches to the scenario, something just clicks and I'll have 'one more go' and victory is mine. I never seem to get tired of fending off the endless spawning horde with my array of weaponry and resource gathering equipment. And I love the power boosts you get when placing structures or weapons on the destroyed emitters. Uber plus!
You should start out with slower zombies then as your go further out they become faster and more horde based (big groups). Head shots should kill them immediately instead of nearly the entire clip. The zombies need more animation to their movement otherwise they look like they are gliding rather than running.
Nice game. But like others had said, it was really just a drive here pick up people and drive home with some serious clumsy driving controls. The zombies weren't really a problem as much as the environment was. Seeing that they didn't cause any vehicular damage, you could simply go forward and backward to take them out as you dwindle the horde to make the area safe for pickup. If the zombies actually did minor amount of damage to the van/bus, then at least it would make the attempt at getting the people to safety much more challenging. As it stands they are merely splatter-effect only.
I concur with Daenerys5539 and Chaotic_Dust, level 4 is bugged. No matter how many times I beat it, it still shows as unbeaten unlike the other levels before and after it. It is the only one that does not have a star. You might want to look into why Level 4 is not registering a win.
Instead of instant death when running into an obstacle, why not just have it decrease your stamina by some points. I can smash through a tree but a rock trips my dino and causes him to collapse and putter out?
The game locked up on me near the sign and I couldn't break out of the lock. The encroaching enemies just sat there trying to hit me and couldn't, but I could kill them. Very frustrating because I had no other option than to restart the game even though I had gotten quite far. Disappointing indeed.
This game could have promise if the following issues are addressed. 1) Some levels become a lag fest even though only one or two opponents are on the screen. 2) On the last level, if your opponent is on top of the building on the left hand side, it is impossible to target him as you end up clicking on your healing packs. Either the healing packs have to be moved or the opponent does. 3) I understand that this is a 'mouse only' game but using grenades and healing packs should be assigned keys to use. 4) Sometimes when your target runs behind something, their body is in the foreground and their head is behind the fence preventing them from headshots. 5) Perceptive size change is ridiculous. A guy who runs from a hill in the distance, where they are small, suddenly towers over the bus, only then to be smaller than the pile of bricks in front of me as they hide behind it.
Quite fun. But I have come across two issues. 1) When the count down on the chest resets and I click on it, the background dims and nothing appears. I don't get the treasure and the chest is back to full allotment of time before being able to be opened again. 2). Same thing happened with completing a quest. I completed the 'weapon upgrade' quest. Finished it. Clicked on the treasure bag icon, screen dims, and I did not receive the 2k supply reward. You might want to look into why the game is not rewarding completed quests and chest rewards.
Fuel removed (consumables). Enjoy the game!
