great continuation to the series the only problem i have with it is that its a little buggy, you HAVE to wait for every script to finish before clicking on the next step, i've been screwed over by this a couple of times (first playing on my own the chemicals in the bucket didn't react together when i put them all in) and the second time i was going though to finish and get the badge and it froze me out by the cars (where the kids show up oringally) fix these bugs and it will be a 5/5
you address this but it has to be said again feels like fallout especially fallout 2; between the way the ability points are described (good-v.good), the way the character moves and has a set hit rate based on ability points the way the map works even the way some of the enemies 'look'; i'm sure when the story comes out you'll try harder to prove that this isn't a fallout rip (which isn't necessarily a completely bad thing)
it was cute... but i hate that when i hold space bar and shoot as high as i can ( feathering it to make sure i stay at around 299 (300 max speed) when i come back down from space i never bounce and in fact it looks like a bug where you break though the ground... PLZ FIX!
i'd like to see in game achievements that grant specific bonuses in game and badges from kong (only complaint i have is playing on a track pad, but nothing you can do about that) great game!
i don't understand the way that units are balanced other then the fact they are ranged there is no point to building most of the ranged units just because they have less atk and health then the melee's, both priest units have '10' in healing ability and no matter what the enemy is going to build and put out more units then you can (which is why the limited gold lvl screws everyone) its a great start but there needs to be more balance to this game!
really easy way to get your fortress to the unbeatable stage, (not that its that hard anyway) hire an engineer, place on a wall where you let a single enemy survive, let the enemy atk, and the engineer repair until he's maxed out/ desired lvl, repeat three more times so you can have a maxed engineer on each wall... profit
This is a funny game if you think about it the best way to "beat" the game is to try and stay as low a lvl for as long as possible, because the enemies grow exponentially (so to speak) while your gun can't power up fast enough to deal with them (even with the bonus points from the medals...) in fact with the more points you start out with the better it is just to dump them all into point bonus and just try to sit on lvl one to 'break' the high score because of the ease... don't get me wrong i'm an active player and love to try to max out all upgrades (Which i feel there should be a hard or impossible badge for) it just seems like there needs to be a little tweaking to balance the game better.
the game is pretty good, but a few things, if i buy higher upgrades i should be able to access lower upgrades or vice versa (after buying the highest end 'dog' up grade and then wanting to max out my upgrades i got the lower lvl ones and there is no way to change back up without starting a new game; same with extra items) it should have more varied zombies, or perhaps higher hp in the later lvls; the chainsaw is way too over powered (protip: get a minigun dog, and have it keep shooting cars while in chainsaw mode= inf. invincibility) explosions should do damage based on health not just downgrade foes. and finally, more character upgrades, i should be able to upgrade my char in diffrent ways, more heath, speed, defense (maybe sperate from armor) and damage (or at least upgrade the guns after obtaining the base type)
not a "bug" per say, but when in the shop and looking at items, if i press backwards from the first set (0/20) it starts going into negative numbers (-20/0) perhaps a "loop around" system where it shows me my last/highest page of items instead of going into negatives continuously
has anyone earned any of the "secret badges" (right click and press play on any stage to be taken to the secret badge page) and i've earned the #84 badge by firing shots at 100% power till i got x50... wtf?
