I really enjoyed this game, except that once you got to sector 4 it lost all difficulty. It just got to the point where nuking my own units didnt even matter beause they had 200 health and suicidal moves would kill half of the opposing team. It just stopped being fun kind of.
but still, an amazing game that was really fun over all. 5/5
if you want to get the medium badge quickly just play the easy-level opponent and play as greedily as possible without actualy trying to win. Even if you have a 1/6 chance of not zilching, just roll. You're goal is a 3000 bank not a win. it's easy
I really like this game. The concept is so simple but still requires a ton of strategy. I think you could really expand on it to make an incerdible sequel with more items, a more in-depth levelling system, armour/weapon appearances. 5/5, but could be even better
the goal here is to get 3 skulls per level, meaning you don't want them to breach the first floor. Meaning that you don't need guards, who are on floors above the first.
So don't bother spending points on them and focus more on skills that will increase defence or allow you to cause more damage on the first floor.
TL;DR don't upgrade guars you don't need them
its basically a visual novel with arcade game scenes. which could be really bad, but luckily its amazing. I've never before seen a flash game that has this great of a storyline before. It beats most console games I've played, in terms of quality of story. I grew very attached to the characters within an hour
the presentation of notes is terrible. different nots should be in different lanes. not crammed into the same lanes randomly. it makes it hard to tell what button to press
It usually annoys me when developers make even the slightest attempt to be emotional and artistic in their games, and the entire community of Kongregate adores it. BUT, this game certainly deserves that praise. It was well thought out, had outstanding art compared to most games here, and did a good job at conveying specific feelings to the player. Good job, 5/5

"easiest" way to do it: Only worry about the shield base and your main base. Unless you are a god of micro-managing, it's nearly impossible to protect all 5 buildings. So just put points into your main building and the shield building. The shield building will be there to save you when you take a few hits, and your main building will do the rest of the work. It just takes patience and accuracy beyond that.
to help with massive money, after Cletus picks you up, do a superman, hold it down, then alt+tab to a different page and you will hold the stunt indefinitely
My biggest problem with the game is that basic completion is a breeze. It's hard to get Expert rank, sure, but just beating a level? Piece of cake.
TD's aren't fun when you just have to sit for 20 minutes, occasionally upgrading one or two towers, but basically just sitting back and watching a super tower destroy everything.
The difficulty lies in calling out waves quickly in order to echieve expert rank. But if you don't care for Expert rank, there is extremely little difficulty involved.
