I don't understand why this is like, THE most famous game on Kongregate. It's not that good! It's extrememly basic, features very little customization, has hardly any difficulty curve, regardless of difficulty mode, and has crappy art. I would never regard this as a good game.
This is honestly the best game on Kongregate. and I've played a LOT of games here. This could easily have been on SNES. It's got such a true 16-bit feel; with the character design, backgrounds, and music. It's really nostalgic playing this, and completely hilarious
after activating boost, my sheep proceeded to drive backwards on the ground at 70 mph, until I passed the launchpad. He then flew into white space and the game ended while I was still travelling
maxing out Reinforcements, Meteors, and Mages allows you to rather quickly swarm the map with ranged/melee units with a super-powerful backup emergency strike (meteor). you dont ever have to use barracks, archers, or cannons
It's so refreshing to see that someone out there realizes that all browser games don't have to be just mindless arcade games. There is a possibility for a good storyline. And my god, this is a good storyline. This is absolutely the best game on Kongregate
I think this game could be greatly expanded upon. If there were saveable checkpoints and a higher cap on weapons and armor, it could be a multiple hour game easily
