my biggest beef with this game is that I never traded... NOT ONCE! I hung on to all sorts of useless crap/weapons I didn't need because I thought I could trade it! Why is there a stat that "Helps with trading" if there is NO TRADING!!!
First off, great concept. Unfortunately, there are some serious flaws. The most obvious, and major, of which is the fact that, after level three, this game quickly becomes nothing more than farming money. It's just not fun when you have to spend 30 or so rounds grinding for funds per every round you advance. Seriously. Fix that. The second (and last that I'll mention) major flaw is the fact that when you finally get the money to pay for an upgrade... it's usually hardly worth buying. At the end of the day, about half of the upgrades make virtually no difference in the strength of your horde.
well, well, well, what have we here? another point and click adventure? yes. that about sums up this game. I give it a 3. it's not that anything about it is bad... it's more that nothing about it is very good. it's just simple graphics, simple music/sounds, and pretty much no storyline. in a genre where storyline is the life of the game... a game with no storyline... is kinda boring. also, the only star which was remotely hard to find was on level five.
It would be REALLY nice if the over world map was more accurate and showed trails/forks. Honestly, I keep getting lost. It's getting tedious and unfun. Especially since, somewhere, I missed a boss and am having to search all over for him. Thumbs up if you've had this problem/want a better map.
Here's a tip for anyone who's had their file deleted in any game in kong: If a revision is made to a game, it deletes the save files of those who have played the game before the revision. Thus, if there's a game which just came out, is really long and has some glitches, you may want to wait for a while before playing it to allow the developer time to revise the glitches.
a little clue for those having an inordinate amount of trouble; skip the shoties entirely. use the money you would have spent on them to fully upgrade the scorpian smg. then jump to the AK.
This is great, but it would have been even better if there were some sort of a penalty for dieing. just starting the room over WITH EVERYTHING YOU GAINED BEFORE DEATH makes things seem kind of pointless. still though, it's nice occasionally to not really need to worry about dieing and just play a game.
The only beef I have with this game is that, because there is no invincibility period after you get hit, I tend to get killed every time the lazer attack or the mustache connects. Honestly, that kind of ruined it for me.
Well that was intensely lame. The biggest problem is the fact that your ship doesn't move at a constant speed. when I play a top-down flying game, I either want the ship to move at the same speed as the cursor, or I want it to move at a fixed speed towards the cursor. the last thing I want is for the ship to jump erratically towards the cursor and right into a rock. Also, I agree with what Century 22 said, "One hit and it's over? How about a damage meter?" You need a damage meeter, or at least lives. the single hit game over makes things way too short.
