Good graphics and production. Not much gameplay, and very short. There's not much here, but it shows real potential for future games. I look forward to your next one.
What I liked:
- good cutscenes
- clever gameplay
- the jetpack
- graphics and other production values.
What I didn't like:
-3D aspect is annoying and really adds little to gameplay
-It is BORING.
3/5
Interresting gameplay, but a bit too tough. The window is too small for the size of the planets, or maybe the planets are just too big and everything moves too fast...comes out the same either way.
Also, it's almost pure luck to catch the powerups because you are too busy killing stuff. Most of the time, the Earth will take multiple hits if you try to catch one. Maybe they could come down slower, and you shoot them instead of catch them?
not bad. The three weapons you can fire are fundamentally the same, and I hate a powerup system based on random drops. movement and combat work out quite nicely, though.
Decent game, but not a good one. There is not nearly enough to do, and very little strategy involved. Figuring out that HP and mana are really the only worthwhile attributes is 90% of the game. Figuring out that the hamster is the strongest character is the other 10%. 2/5.
On defense mode get the laser and the overkill powerup; you'll have more experience then you know what to do with. So much, in fact, that I can only assume the game was never properly playtested.
