It took forever, though, because there is way too much blood, mostly, I think, but also grenades, body parts, gun fire, explosions, etc, for my computer.
I'm not sure its counting the shells properly. Anyway, I got artillery death, with about 10 hits that left a jeep a couple bunkers a signaler and an officer. I probably scored 1000 points pinning the enemy onto the 20 barbed wire at the front of the screen with close assistance.
Actually, its getting quite annoying with the M1 granad ribbon... Now, the french troops never move, because, apparently they want to empty their clip standing up on an open field rather than getting in a defensive trench.
I think that soldiers that are told to go into a bunker would actually double time the move, rather than taking shots at the enemy that isn't even pinning them down.
bgrant4, it might be my machine too, but if I fly an air mission and use a huge bomb on 40 nazis, it gives me an error message asking if I want to stop the script.
I think that the flame unit should be flame resistant and not take so long to aim, he has to get real close, and has an area of effect weapon, he should be fixed.
Another complaint about the "computer decided for me to die" issue. Sometimes, I would be content just to be able to turn the artillery off, and get no badges at all.
There's a guys score report on here, where he got 16k points, but then, he received no artillery shells, how, then, can we use scores to compare skill?
And, btw, the taunt button causes the computer to increase assault size dramatically. Can I have a throttle and turn the quality to low. It makes no sense to have a game that intentionally is boring in between waves, even if that is truer to real life. It IS a game.
a 95 min mission for 6.4k (lost to 17 artillery rounds) followed by a 1.5min mission for 27points (lost to parachutes which came before I was even on the screen).
If you pause the game the computer still shoots if it has a man aiming, and the parachute guys will stand up. Only pause between waves until this gets fixed.
I'm with apelhitam again too, with a few dishes rotating, body parts every wave and grenades flying everywhere, I'm getting a bit of lag, maybe I could shut some of those animations off?
501 kills on the record board? Maybe someone found that spear that didn't go away. I saw it, but I decided it was cheating.
Anyway, there is a bug where you can get a spear to appear that doesn't go away, not the same as hitting the spear guy when he's attacking and getting two spears.
There I was, about to die after only 34 guys on survival mode. I thought, I've only been hit by a sword 3 time!... This badge is impossible... Oh, I see... I get 5 guys... easy...
The artillery strike... Hmm... Did you mean for peoples games to always end with an artillery strike? It is quite frustrating. After having happen several times now, with a fairly small deployment (admittedly including a tank), I have to say, its a real game ruiner. Yes, I could have probably gone for a thousand waves without the artillery strike, but its frustrating, especially within the first 50 and probably within the first 100 or even 150 waves to get hit by artillery. And I've made it that far. There is no way to prepare before wave 50, and still have a sustainable squad. I'd call that a balance issue.
