Offline is working for me. I'm getting a pretty good income in AI, 10 quadrillion in 16 hours or something with 15 quadrillion AIs. going to hit 800 carwashes and probably shrimpboats today, but not sure double speed is going to cut it until tomorrow morning for a reset, as it takes a long time to hit 775 newspapers and that's a goodly increase in income. Also, oil is really good, so I'm thinking about investing a bit differently, maybe I'll reset today to try out going big into oil with the AIs I have, but I doubt it, probably wait until tomorrow and reset. Still hitting 800 in the news looks like next week at least.
Thank you. I'm not sure it's slower than before. I'm getting half a duodecillion every 8 seconds from the oil now... Which is pretty flashy, not rapid updating like the lemonade stand, but enough to make you want to take the oil above 900 when it looks cheap. Take the oil to 900 ASAP as it is cheap. I've got it at 940 and lemonade at 1300... It looks pretty good but different than with lemon super dominance.
Ya, the AIs seem to be rolling in a lot lot slower with the update. With it taking sextillions of AI to still not get 900s in less than an hour, and them accruing so slowly, this may be a problem, since I was still looking at 100s of hours to get to 900 (quadirillions to sextillion is a lot of 000s). You want me to check in a few times a day... right? You might be better off keeping the growth curve up and just adding on every once in a while, lol... Otherwise, some days I still look at idle mine.
775 is tought, but might make the 800 doable. After that it looks like running it in day long stints as a few quadrillion angels won't make much difference. I think this is going to take many quadrillion angels if not at least quintillions of angels to get through.
I gave myself 1 sextillion investors during testing, and couldn't reach the 900 of Everything Achievement in under an hour, so hopefully the journey to 900 is full but fun!
Now the scroll works fine for me. Having them go to the bottom is an interesting idea. Ultimately not important, it takes me just a minute or so to buy all that stuff, lol. Think I'll hit the 750 newspaper point tonight and let it run while I sleep. That seems like a good inflection point for today.
This game is broken, it says more kids are coming, but they're frozen of something. So, I can't even beat it. And, ya, the badges are broken, and it's a badge of the day?
I'm pretty sure on the swimming game that if you get 30 (from 50-80) levels the next object will come to0 fast to avoid. Possibly it might take another obstacle or 2. Starting at the back of the screen sure with an uncanny reflex and striking the top of the next ship means there was little chance of anyone succeeding much longer.
Also, I feel like the there is lacking a sufficient growth curve in experience gain for doing well in the games. Despite, I think, getting them to go fast enough to glitch, I felt like I was getting more for starting a training than for doing -really- well.
Not sure he survived the lava climb... I found the running tedious, but I give the game 5 stars for being playable through the whole thing, as usual. Maybe even getting the last achievement. Ah, and these minigames, I think they are classic in the way that means unwinnable. I swear at the end of the swimming game at least two times the puzzle was impossible or nearly so, and one time I fly off the screen entirely in the swimming game and skipped an obstacle.
I see a lot of people with 40B angels and they must have started at around the same time I did. I assume that reseting is bad unless you have a lot more angels, as it appears I slow down getting angels in that day or so my stuff gets back up I make maybe 1B angels when its a couple B or more now when everything is fairly stable and I'm increasing oil production because pizza is too far away.
Yes, I made some assumptions that may not be true to come up with the magnitude in difference of cost per item. I assumed the ROR per unit increase was similar, rather than per investment cost... People who read the code could probably say more if I'm more or less accurate. Anyway, the unit increase cost is really massive right now for newspapers, so, other than the incentive for achievement bonuses it is a poor investment unless it is seriously like 8 order of magnitude different in cost by the time you get to 500. 100,000,000x or if oil is (1n) News should be (1sextillion) according to this assumption.
Guys... my fame is going up with my money, and I think it says that in the banner messages as well... although, it looks like it will take some time before I hit 1000... but, a)it is an idle game, b)it's probably the last upgrade, and c) and you can make extra money by trading in the market... it really isn't that hard, look at the stuff you're given, look at the stock you want to trade in for a few minutes and then jump into it. Do the most expensive few you can afford.
I've got about 27B investors, it seems like my time is better spent keeping upgrade costs a magnitude apart starting with the oil and moving down after getting the shrimp to 500. It takes about a day to get donuts up to 500 from 400 and I think that amount of time would be better spent getting my income from oil and lemons up increasing my angel accrual rate. I don't think this is a problem, I've just reset it a few times without really seeming to get close enough to pizza to take a stab at it.
The lemonade stand is a pretty good investment for a long time. After a while, it seems it's missinging so many updates it 10x valuability probably runs out. I did some calculations and the cash value, without super optimization is that each thing is a magnitude of difference... well they're like 20 or 40 or something, but to simplify one magnitude should be sufficient, it is for me, after you get whichever one you can reasonably achieve before reset to achievement value. I'm up (or down) to donut right now, with 22B angels.
While I understand your philosophy on balancing the game, I think it damaged replay value. I think, oh, I'll play this, this was a good game, but then it's like, oh ya, that's right, it's blandly challenging all the time.
I suspect that coal would be more fun if it were 4x or so more common than other crafting reagents. Hey, it might be far more common and I'm just unlucky getting lots of other reagents starting to fill my inventory. Hopefully that gets better... I could sell them too, I know, just mentioning it.
I just put three on with max speed and damage and one tick over minimum energy. I spread them as far apart as possible all pointing forward. The ship needs some upgrades to perform, but I was no where near the endurance achievements and only lost a couple levels all the way to the top going for this ship. I guess, I could have improved the guns instead, now I have so much money put into the tank I can't get back. The last level pays a ton when you lose, also, so you can buy a tick in power if you lose, lol.
Yes! Lots of players were a bit concerned that Oil was going down in value, so we adjusted the market. :)
