Found an odd glitch where I only had dodge only level unlocked and selected it, but started the level and it was the easy set, and after winning easy was unlocked on the next stage. The original stage has easy locked with the star filled in
Love the leveling system and the well balanced skill system with a large variety of upgrades. Only wish the play each level 3 times achievement didn't exist, as it is useless. Just throwing it out there, I messed up on level 2 and ended up in an insane 10+ minute victory, giving me a lot of the grow and kill achievements after level two. This made everything up to level 11 VERY easy.
The game starts really slow with money but as soon as the $10 is unlocked all heck breaks loose and its too much. Then you think 25 is too too much and by the time you get enough tokens to complete all the missions you still haven't quite afforded all the level 5 equipment.
I think that this game was not simply thrown together. It looks like a lot of work was put into it and some things were overlooked. I enjoyed the "Total War" gameplay style and enjoyed the presentation of the game. However I didn't feel like I was in much control because it is difficult to move my units. I also saw that my characters were leveling, but had no idea what this meant. Was there more to the game if I played longer? I wasn't having too much fun and quit after a few levels.
Tons of room for potential here. Make the weapons unlockable from the start, add attributes (gain some points by using the training room different ways?) make the stores easier access... good concept that missed its mark. Did you try playing it yourself? It only takes 6 minutes of playing to realize all the fatal flaws in this design. Oh ya, the fighting mechanics. Everyone else has said those problems.
With all the above comments I would like to emphasize how tough the control is. Even though that laser guide goes in all directions, your character only moves in 8, which makes this game very difficult for no reason
Hey, I think most of the things that need looked at have been addressed, but allow me to make a suggestion regarding game overs. Perhaps your ending score in a run can dictate upgrades or certain perks you can take into the dungeon starting again. Also you can add a shop after a gameover which would allow you to use your score from the previous run as a currency to unlock weapons and armor or the option to keep a piece for the cost of this currency
To answer the (somehow) 5th highest rated comment, I believe your character is wearing an oxygen suit as in the intro artwork? And as for the game itself, really good except the strategy was way too simple, first try I easily beat it in 2 days game time. I bought the x ray gun and never even made enough money for the final gun during gameplay. Great game and good (but easy to predict) story. A lot like Balloon in a Wasteland. 4/5 but it needs more gameplay. 10 minutes was not enough.
Found a warrior character that is pretty much invincible, but I have 2 current quests on the 3rd island that require me to go to floors 4 and 5 of a dungeon, but the 3rd level of the dungeon is very small and there is no other level making the quests impossible to complete? Is this a bug or is there a workaround for this that someone can tell me?
Great game, gave it a 5/5. My comments about the game would be that it was a bit easy to simply "beat". On my first play around I was invincible and my first 100 weeks had been just about wasted adjusting to the new game and remembering how to play. I am not sure what else I could have achieved, besides finding the final 3 relax stations. Finishing the buildings all wouldve been pointless as most of the stats weren't very helpful. I found 2 glitches. One i encountered eventually upon refreshing each time was the damage counters would be marked incorrectly and a default 200 would be displayed over the person being hit, and the actual damage over the attacker. Another one was when entering my final dungeon with 4 weeks left I entered and it simply didn't load. After a short blackscreen it gave me a dungeon cleared and the reward picture was cycling between all the stat symbols. Aside from the lack of replay, this was a great game.
Is it a bug that at 8096 damage I can no longer do any damage to any part of the dummy (and my rockets are just flying into the body and sitting there...)
I am a bit skeptical of the accuracy percentages... I could just be unlucky but after finishing 2 chapters (barely) 80% accuracy resembles 50%, if that.
Loved it. Made it all the way to wave 66, maxed out at level 815 or whatever it is. Crazy and addicting. Possible suggestions... more weapons and maybe some type of power-ups/abilities?
OMG I love you.
