Only bothers me how little customization is made by the player in the game. You place the trees where you want and cast spells like mad. I prefer a TD game with an in-depth level up system.
Had a ton of fun playing this game, did have to upgrade to max gear to finish though because i put no upgrades into health. for a while though i could nearly perfect anything that wasnt the final boss while grinding out those last upgrade stones. a lot of variety for a few options though. 5/5
I really like this game but I have played this same exact game before. Is this a sequel or a rip off? Outside of that, just wanted to let you know you are missing a medal in game. The 3rd mission medal symbol is up but it had the description (summon 1 creature), and all the medals after that also have their description shifted over from their picture.
Bug? Eliminated by pink, went back through the history. They had about 3 territories and 20 units on a map with only +6 reinforcement cards half way through the game. Next turn they had 150 units in those spots and TOOK EVERYTHING
Really enjoy the game and its a great concept in the fact that its similar to another game on kongregate (wizard run or something). My main concern above all things with this game is the imbalance of the skill trees. After leveling nature to the chain hit the game is easy mode from there on out. Max it all out except the max damage reducing skill and you can shit in 1 spot and just chain hit/bolt everything to death instantly. This makes it too overpowered but using the other 2 skill trees is so frustrating because they lack a good skill to use aside from bolt. Ice does have the elemental summon but it doesnt do enough damage to make up for the lack of healing. Good game, can definitely use tune ups, but was very fun.
thanks. i'd say the other trees are workable, they're just harder. have you tried frost nova on a group of enemies followed by a blizzard? it takes some timing, but it can be very effective. and yes, wizard's run was a great game.
My biggest concern with this game is that the rewards dont increase as you progress. Eventually you just end up grinding stage 1, 2, and 3 until the later stages are easy enough
I would have to agree that things such as upgrades and a free play mode would make this game incredible. But 2 things I think that can be possibly updates to this version... A stats screen with the amount of things you have collected and a listed achievements screen. The decoration achievements make this game worth playing over and over, but I'm unsure if that 500 weapons collected milestone is worth trying to hit when there might not be an achievement for it
The game itself and it's style and originality is amazing in my eyes. The improvements for a sequel would be for the game to improve along side you. For example, I lost season 1 with 1 loss to an undefeated opponent, so i had to play through another season where I walked over every opponent to the king. Beating this in 1 season would be very difficult but by season 2 its a pushover. Maybe more emphasis on improving the season mode in more ways than just difficulty.
Anyone else get bugged where your coins picked up money is so big you only see half the + and $ sign and the top corner of the first number only? cause its too big...
k. So it is only possible to get 1 level up in world 1. So if you do not put that in health, the first enemy in world 2 one-hits you? and there's 4 of them?
Great game up until its life span is 8 minutes until you find a better way to give players a chance to play.
