Played before updates: no lag. After updates: LAG. Not all the time, but it happens enough (where the ship won't move for a moment or won't stop immediately) that I am having trouble getting past lvl 25. I do like the fact that you fixed the shield problem and the other stuff, but this new lag problem is (literally) killing me (in game).
5/5 for a contest entry, but 4/5 as a kongregate game. If a person doesn't know what they are doing, they will just hit random every time and not be able to finish the game. If a person DOES know what they are doing, having to create up to 32 bars of music for every level takes a long time. Great game for music composers, but not the average gamer.
I like it, but I don't see how it can be a submittable for the contest. It has nice music, but how does it "synchronize music and unique gameplay"? The music has absolutely no effect, of any kind, on the game. Though I might be interpreting that sentence wrong.
Froze for me on 3/10 of Quickplay. The song didn't start, so I don't know which it is, but the options are "Light My Fire" "Let it Be" "Born This Way" and "Paper Planes". I know I have already gotten "Let it Be" and "Paper Planes" as correct answers, but I don't remember having the other two in this play through. Good game, but only 3/5 until you fix the initial positioning of the embedded link (it is slightly to the right until I chose an answer which means I can't close the ad)
The only two things I have a problem with are the size of the smallest "island" and the steepness of the "ski jump" because it is quite possible to miss them entirely at higher speeds and loose the jump combo. Might be fixed by letting us see further ahead at higher speeds, but I am not sure.
Why is everyone asking for upgrades? Does Robot Unicorn Attack need upgrades? I ask because this is the same sort of side-scroller where the only goal is to get a high score.
got to the end of medium and have two things to say: A) needs badges. B) if there is a badge for finishing hard, it will probably be an Impossible badge.
Well. Made it to Pieces. No clue how to get past it. 4/5 for new game design and good challenges, but could use some work in the graphics, have volume control, etc.
I really wanted to give this a 5/5, but... There us absolutely no challenge and a few things that don't work all that well. I preferred the fewer-but-more-drastic upgrades from the first. If I could, I would give this a 4.5/5, but I have to give 4/5.
GLITCH DESCRIPTION: Ran into a glitch where, whenever I went NW past a certain grid-line, the game would enter a loop and the play field froze. I could get out of it by clicking SE past the grid line and everything appeared to work fine unless I went NW again. I know that the game entered a "loop" because, the first time I went past that line, I was attacking an enemy, killed it, and it kept dieing. Even though I could not see this, I know this is true because I received over 2 lvls worth of experience and, when I went SW again, there was a TON of loot NW of the line. I hope that this information can help you track the problem down. PS: n-ing the save feature request.
at the room with the three bots to destroy, if you miss the initial jump you are not trapped. You can, just barely, jump from the middle ledge to the top one. Hold the initial jump till you are as high as possible, then do the same with the double jump. not an easy jump, but not particularly hard ether. Its not like you can die right there.
lvl 12 is a little hard to see. Start it like this: both ear-muffs, yellow, remove ear-muffs, horizontal belt (that stays on till the end). After that, just remember that the triangles are orange and you should be able to see the rest.
Roach hole badges not working :( Also, I wish there was a visible counter for # of kills per type. Don't worry about adding "skill trees" and "Classes" because this sort of game does not need them. Instead, I would recommend having a larger variety of Amulets and Idols that do different things (speed up attack, movement speed, lower one stat for a large boost in another, etc.)
Completely glitched the game. When I was turned into a snail, I instantly hit the up arrow as a reaction. I kept the knight form, but moved at a snail's pace and turned into the snail when going into the hole and between the bars. This did not really hurt me until the next choice where the snail should have been eaten by a large rat (I assume) but instead the knight was able to just walk off the sides of the screen. Had to refresh the page/start over.
Better than the first. The light beams add another dimension to the puzzles without detracting from the previous ones. Though I did not like the sea-saws nearly as much. 5/5 After playing through all the lvls my lvl map is almost in perfect symmetry: A's on the puzzles, the first two, and a couple more on the sides with the rest B's
Clicking the Play button is making the game area go black then the same screen appears again no matter what I do. The cookie also seems to be messing with my firefox browser. (can not use the cursor keys or end/home in this comment box)... until this window jumped back to the top/refreshed itself all on its own. WTF just happened? Everything is running fine now. Anyway, could you check to see if there is a problem with the game on firefox browsers?
