titles that give you stat upgrades become less and less useful the deeper you go (they only add up to three levels' worth of upgrades). therefore, when going for the hard badge, avoid them. I recommend dauntless (+2 armor for every monster in a crowd) and marathoner (+10% run speed).
awesome game, 5/5. of course, I'd have given 5/5 just for the nostalgiagasm at the end - "maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. until tomorrow, I'll just keep movin' on..."
if you assume that your dice rolls are random (which is more or less true) your average score will be approximately 26.5. so, bet high if Brian rolls 26 or under, low if he rolls 27 or over.
wait, that's it? seriously? I worked on this game for a couple of weeks, and the boss goes down in three hits? talk about your all-time anti-climaxes! hopefully the final boss will be harder when I play it on the demon's side...
honestly, this feels unfinished. absurdly easy, very limited upgrade tree, poor map control (takes way too long to change between characters when they get separated), not even any bgm... it has a lot of potential, but it's not ready for the big time yet. 3/5
so it turns out I actually beat the boss really early on in my first game, only didn't get the badge. so then iI restarted and flew around for a loooooong time, and got the badge as soon as I moved into the same bubble as the boss. really not impressed with how much time I wasted looking for something I had already beaten. down to 3/5.
well, either I already killed the boss and didn't get the badge, or I've been flying around through hundreds of bubbles without finding him. either way, this annoys me. only giving 4/5 for that.
