great game, controls are a little difficult to get used to at first, but I'm not sure if a standard platformer-style control would make the game easier or harder. regardless, loved the game, the puzzles were just the right mix of difficulty. 5/5
1) if one of my firemen is standing to close to a civilian when the last danger is eliminated I lose control of them. 2) there's no pause menu. 3) team selection is a bit screwed up, I sometimes end up with two of the same person. 3) why is there a team selection at all? do they have different stats? if so, show them; and if not, what's the point? 4) why don't the fires spread over time? that would make the game much more interesting.
it has potential, but for now 3/5
fantastic! captures the essence of the old 8-bit sidescrollers, but in a short and easy enough package to fit the casual gameplay expected of a flash game. 5/5
definitely needs a sequel. the normal levels are too simple, and the challenge levels, while difficult, tend to require superfine keyboarding skills rather than clever thinking. there's a whole lot of unexplored territory here.
anyone who thinks level 20 is "impossible" or even "hard" might consider cutting their teeth on a real platformer or two... I suggest early Mega Man titles.
