Badly written unity code, you've got garbage collection pauses: makes games like this unplayable (die because Unity paused). Gave up. Re-write it to have zero temp objects, please!
Control system for a puzzle game ... makes for a really crappy platformer. Float-o-vision = no control = frustrating and painful, over-shadowing any enjoyment. 1/5
Got to level 8, can't get to 10 because server keeps timing out. Definitely not playing this after I get the badge (probably won't get there, cos protection will expire before I get to login again). Rating it th 1/5 it earned, sadly
Bonus: if you're going to use very very short-time-gap wall-jumps, make sure you're good enough at writing code that the controls are responsive. These are not. The broken delay where double-jumping fails because your flash code isn't picking up input? not good.
Nice game, ruined by bad control system. Never, ever make pixel-perfect jumps required as the core game. Especially in a game where you didnt make your flash fit the screen (try playing this on a large montiopr - it's painful due to that one mistake)
Major mem-leak on the overhead-map screen (I counted 3 gigabytes when the process crashed!). Also lag on many controls, and actors walk often 1-2 feet away from click-location. In-mission, often it mis-selects / fails to select on click if there's two characters near each other, and portrait-based select often fails due to lag. Overall ... really nice game, but has a lot of silly bugs that let it down. Plus the pay-to-play aspect is depressing. 3/5
Very old game design, with shiny graphics and the WORST control system I've ever seen on this type of game. Bonus points for making "escape" automatically LOSE the level for no reason at all. Because the crappy scheme doesn't let you cancel multi-selects, I hit escape often and - boom. 1/5
High production values, very boring game. You have very little choice - loads of pointless artificial constraints to prevent you "building a deck" or "having a strategy". You can't choose number of cards per deck, you can't use more than one color card, etc etc. Almost every game plays out identically - ignore your opponent (game design is too weak for them to really matter) and just hit the same buttons in the same order ... hundreds of times over and over again. 1/5
Don't play this until the developer stops ignoring the bug reports and actually FIXES the bugs with masters. Game permanently blocked for me because it awarded a master, and then removed it at end of level - for SUCCESS. So buggy.
When you get past the bugs (with keyboard, it often marks wrong squares, because the anims break the keyboard handler, and it inserts unpressed keys), it's quite fun.
Patronising "tutorial" that is VERY VERY VERY SLOW. If you hit "skip" it stops the whole thing. Did first level, but it wouldn't accept it, even though it was correct. Rating 1/5. This is awful.
Needs a control system which actually controls you ship, instead of janking all over the place. Also: that GDC talk about screen-shake making everything better? Yeah, no. Just makes the game more annoying.
When you're writing in a 2nd language perfectly, come back and complain, until then, please accept this 0/5 star rating on your comment.
